I got a facial and full face waxing done at this place. And the staff was very welcoming and nice and overall it was a good experience. However I was not satisfied with the full face of wax, the person did not do it properly and i had to point out multiple times to get baby hairs. He was very nice, listened to everything i said and did an amazing job with the facial. But i felt he was inexperienced with waxing. And in the “full face” of wax, it’s not even the full face, It’s just upper lip, eyebrows and maybe side burns, so it’s very misleading how they don’t mention that upfront. When I called to express that I wasn’t satisfied, the owner was nice at first but when I asked for the refund she kind of acted like I was in the wrong for even thinking that. I’m paying $70 for facial waxing, for that much money it should honestly be done to perfection. And I shouldn’t have to constantly point out leftover hair. Not to mention, he wasn’t even able to correctly shape my eyebrows. It was never my intention to get a free service, but if i’m not satisfied, i have the right to ask for my money and go to another place. I even bought a face wash from them because I felt the facial made my skin feel amazing. And she also kept saying he spent extra time on my face, which I appreciate but it’s also something I paid for, so if a service takes long what does that have to do with me? She offered for me to come back but after her passive aggressive tone where she made me feel bad for expressing my discontentment, I honestly do not feel comfortable going back there and neither do i have the time as a college student. And i’m never the type to write reviews, but i was nothing but respectful to them and even felt bad for calling, and even after that she was being rude. I honestly understand that some customers can be annoying when they call back, but this is not the way to handle it. The staff is nothing but amazing and even the guy that did it was very nice, but the owner seems so rude. And i wouldn’t want to go back to a place where the owner acts passive aggressive with...

Michael and Marylin are true skincare gurus. They have an exceptional understanding of what my skin needs and customize their treatments to perfection. Every step of the process is explained, ensuring that you feel like an active participant in your own pampering session. It's like being cared for by knowledgeable friends who excel at what they do.

And then there's Courtney and her extraordinary talent with eyelash extensions. I must admit, I wasn't a fan before, but she completely changed my mind. Her attention to detail is simply mind-blowing. The lashes she creates are both natural and stunning, making me feel like a million bucks every time I flutter them. It's truly addictive, I assure you!

Edit August 2023: Vanity Beauty recently added a hydrafacial service to their menu. I had never had one before, but heard GREAT things about it. Not only was it super relaxing, but my skin looked incredible afterwards - pores pretty much nonexistent, skin visibly firmer and more hydrated. I will definitely be booking another hydrafacial soon!

I have been seeing Melanie for eyelash extensions for over 8 years now (which, if you know me, says A LOT!) Her bedside manner, her attention to detail, and her passion for her craft is why I will continue seeing her for as long as possible. I’m constantly asked ‘who does your lashes?!’ because there is no one in this area who does lashes better than the ladies at Vanity - and their work speaks volumes. My lashes last 3 weeks, my appointments are barely an hour (perfect for me - since my schedule is super hectic), and I roll out of bed everyday looking Zoom ready. And the bonus? I can schedule a massage/hand treatment while I get my lashes done for the ultimate relaxation experience. And the extra bonus? She regularly hosts discounted Botox days onsite with the BEST injector in the area. Vanity beauty lounge is truly your one stop shop for looking and feeling fabulous.
