Don't know if under new management or not I called and ordered a pint of salsa and con queso and chips. For 2 pints it cost $19.95. I remember paying $19.95 for 2 quarts before the pandemic. Overcharging is really ridiculous. Prices went up big time. I picked up my order and got in my car. As I was getting to leave, i realized that I didn't get my chips. I went back in and was talking to the cashier ., I told him I didn't get my chips when I made my order. He looked on my receipt and told me I didn't pay for them So I responded so since the girl who took my order must not heard me say CHIPS, that they want me to buy STORE CHIPS with their dips that I will just ask for s refund and go somewhere else. The cashier proceeds to tell me that the next time I make an order to say "I'd like Chilli Con Queso w/chips." And the chips will be FREE" Which I said that but seen I didn't say "I would Chili Con Queso w/Chips" That's why I have to pay for the chips. So I said hold on and I'll go get my credit card. The cashier said hold on and he came back with a half a bag of chips and told me NO CHARGE. Ahhhhhh 2 pints of dips and he give me a half of bag of chips. I guess a half of bag is better then no chips. So remember when ordering their cheese dip to go, remember to say CHILI CON QUESO w/CHIPS and you won't be charged for the chips. I wonder if you order the con queso as an appretizer do you have to pay for the chips if you don't order it as CHILI CON QUESO. Hmmmm good question. Be sure to check your receipt before you pay. It will be a long while before I order from them again. You can go to Mi Lando's and pay less for con queso without being charged for...

Usually when a restaurant says “family friendly” in their advertising, it implies accommodation for customers with children of all ages.

We chose Chevy’s for our baby shower location, our first time at the establishment. Now that we have said baby, we decided to come back here on a Saturday night out as new parents. We were told we could not have a high top table because after 3PM, no children are allowed in the bar area despite the baby being in a carrier on my chest and would stay there. Not having children AT the bar is perfectly reasonable, but the ten or so empty high top tables being off limits in the same room and the outdoor patio when the rest of the establishment has a 30 minute wait was a bit unreasonable.

The manager Zach was not able to tell me why I could not be seated at a high top for the convenience of standing while wearing a baby carrier while my wife could sit, aside from treating everyone with the same substandard policy. He was also passive in letting my business walk out the door, something I never would have allowed when I worked in the industry.

Get with it, Chevy’s. Not having children AT the bar is sensible. Not having children at a full service high top table twenty feet away from the bar is asinine. There are plenty of other genuine Mexican joints who can take my money, and are happy to see young families...

Took my son for his 18th Birthday (his choice) it was me, my son and 4 other people. We were seated quickly, ordered our drinks and 3 different appetizers that we received quickly as well. We ordered our food and waited a normal time for it. My Mom who normally does not enjoy spicy or Mexican food ended up eating everything that was on her plate, my 10 year old who normally doesn't sit still long enough to eat everything ended up eating a good amount of his food. I got the chicken dilla that was very good but only ate 2 pieces because I could not eat it all but took the rest home to eat the next day. Our waitress was amazing, the food was very good and the prices are great. After I left a 30% tip our bills for 6 people was $180.00. I can't remember the last time we ate out all of us together where we were all satisfied with what we ordered and did not end up with a bill of $250 or more before tip. My family and I will definitely be back again. Everyone I encountered here was great including the host after my son let them know they had a toilet leaking in the men's bathroom. She had someone immediately attend to the leak as well. Thank you for a great 18th birthday...

Maybe it's COVID19, but the staff & prices will keep me from returning to once very favorite place. The staff was slow, nonchalant, & generally disinterested in being there. I'd be surprised to learn they were regulars. What really marred our first venture out to a restaurant in three months was the difficulty in getting help in an emergency!😭When food & drink were spilled on the floor making it exceptionally dangerous for people walking in our area, it took 8 minutes to finally get help. We clapped, we yelled, and banged glasses for help. But nearby Wait Staff chose to ignore 😜 us. It was only when we caught the eye of one nice female Wait Person that we got help from another SOMEONE who mopped the wet area up with a mop pushing napkins around the floor. WOW! And the whole experience left a particular bad taste in our mouths because if jacked up prices that included paying $3.00 for a 12oz glass of coke. Really, Chevys?👎🏼👅✍️🤡i

I don’t even know where to start. Ample seating for small or large groups. Bar seating so you can watch the game. Friendly staff eager to help. Chips are warm and crispy. The Salsa is so delicious roasted tomatoes make all the difference! Integrated POS so the food order goes to the kitchen quickly. Dairy free- no problems! Beef chimmi and a pork tamale. I can’t describe the flavors well enough. The tamale is moist and flavorful. The chimmi beef has sauce and veg in there. More than just ground beef! The black beans and the pinto are good as is the rice! Not dry, and has flavor! Did I mention the salsa? It’s something to be said twice! The sweet corn is delicious. I wish I lived closer. By far the best Tex/Mex in Maryland!

Visited this lovely restaurant after some Google search on way to home from Washington DC. We were 18 people and the manager and staff were very efficient to accommodate us despite being busy on a Saturday. As far as food and drinks, The Spicy Mango Margarita is most recommended and the Top Shelf Margarita as well. For non alcoholic Peach and Mango margarita is a way to go. Food was really good. Especially the Crab n Shrimp Enchiladas along with Vegetarian Enchiladas with Verde sauce is best. I had Grande Chimichanga which was a 3.5 star. Staff was very friendly and knew who ordered what for all 18 of us. Overall, will definitely recommend this place.
