Corner Carryout 2 — Restaurant in Maryland

DON'T EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR IF YOU WANT TO EAT OFF OF A CLEAN GRILL!!!! I've been here twice in the last 3 weeks and each time there was bacon on my omelette even though it was specified NO BACON. When I took the first omelette back, I was told to ask for what I wanted on my omelette and not what I DIDN'T want and they replaced it no problem. However today, when I specifically requested what I wanted, there was still bits of bacon on it when, out of habit, I checked it before eating. However, this time when I called the restaurant, the staff (male) was adamant that there was no bacon on it, but I was looking at bits of bacon in my omelette. He proceeded to tell me if I wanted something else I needed to pay for it because he knew there was no bacon on it. I inquired as to what benefit I would have to make this story up. If anything it was more of an inconvenience for me to have to disrupt my day and come back to the restaurant. Now that I am thoroughly disgusted with the lack of customer service, I informed him that I would be bringing it back to show him, which is what I did. I showed the staff (female), who spoke to him (in their native language that I didn't understand) when she saw the bacon pieces in the omelette. I received no apology or explanation.......Don't worry about me, won't be back and won't send anyone I know here either!!!! And while you may not miss my few dollars, I will spend them somewhere else that appreciates...

I called my order in. A french toast platter with fried eggs and turkey bacon. With a side of home fries with onions and green peppers.

I have to start off by saying from the first bite of the home fries I knew that the food was going to be delicious. And it in fact was. The only thing I wouldn’t get next time is the turkey bacon.

There was a bit of a wait in the store but that’s just because their food is so good.

It’s definitely on the pricey side. My food came up to $20 which was shocking to me. Usually a French toast platter will be around $10 and home fries probably $4. Nonetheless at least the food was good.

The service was great as well. The lady at the counter greeted everyone when they got to the front of the counter and everyone got a “thank you, thank you very much” after they received their order. It’s refreshing to see customer service being a priority.

I wouldn’t go here too often because they a bit expensive. But I will...

So I went to purchase some breakfast platters for me and my son. We also brought one drink. Well we got to the car and realized that our bottled drink wasn't filled to the top. I walked back in to let them know. I told them to grab another one so I can show them the difference. Big difference. I told them to just give me the actual full bottle. The lady and the man scolded me and said I was a liar and that I drank some. Why would I drink some then come back to get a full bottle? It wasn't even a large amount missing(about 30-40ml). Either someone opened it prior to me getting it or it came defective from Snapple. People in the store said "it's not her fault, maybe Snapple sent it like that" "give her back her money or give her a new bottle" . They said "no!". I told them I would just call my bank. And I left the drink on the counter. Bad...
