Hip Hop Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Maryland

The menu is great, lots of great choices to choose from; seafood, shrimp, chicken, French fries, cakes and pies, etc. I find the food to be quite fattening because it's deep-fried and it's not good for your heart. The fish and chicken, it's nice when it's hot when you first order it; just seconds later, and by the time you get home, it's cold and you have got to reheat it; and once you reheat it, now It's too tough to chew and it's hard as a rock. In the end, you feel as if you have wasted your money. I myself prefer to be able to order food and yet still be able to put it in the oven or the microwave later to make it hotter and yet it still remains soft and chewable. But in this case, it becomes like cardboard, just not comfortable enough to eat. Lastly, I think about all of the grease settling in your stomach--which causes high cholesterol and high blood pressure, which will finally be the cause of a massive heart attack or even a stroke. So I wouldn't recommend this type of food to anyone with these type of serious health issues already. If you ask me you're just wasting your life away eating this kind of fast food. All the way from Lagos Nigeria, I was looking for catfish all around Randallstown, I couldn’t find any until I got to this Hip-Hop Fish & Chicken location. The catfish I ate here was amazing and I kept coming every other day when the $$$ is available. Be careful when making food choices so you’re not served swai fish fillets in place of catfish. Again, I love the catfish here.

I was able to taste the other menus as well and the food here tastes great. The shrimps, chicken, gizzards tastes great. If you are looking for a great chicken, shrimps or gizzard box that would worth every bite, this is the right place.

For the fries, they are pretty good as well and well-seasoned. Note that the fries here need to be eaten while its hot because fries don’t taste great when they get cold.

Be ready for some ‘waits’ here and be patient especially when you see the crowd. Otherwise, the staff are very courteous, the environment is clean and the whole hospitality is amazing.

Also, you would get less food for the money when compared with other locations here in Randallstown, Bmore. The fries are well smaller than the other locations I have...

I usually order here. But today I wanted to pick up. The man taking orders was extremely rude and going back and forth with me. I asked for buffalo wings. He said hot or bbq? I said hot. When he went over my order he missed 2 items. Then he kept asking do you want party wings or full wings. I kept saying buffalo, he said no you didn’t say that. And he kept going back and forth with me. I know what I said. English is my first language and I feel that it was a language barrier with this man. I asked the man behind me, hey buffalo wings is party wings right? The man at the register said we dont have that we do it different. I pointed to the sign and said it says Buffalo.
