Denny's recently did a remodel which is very nice, but I have to say its not where I would have put my money. I would have changed out the staff. This place was fine the way it looked before but whatever you do, don't get Jen as a server. She spends more time at the hostess stand trying to take tables for herself than she spends time with those tables. I come to this Denny's twice a month and our experience is wonderful as long as we don't have Jen. One time Jen sat us in the corner of the restaurant. It took 20 minutes to get drinks and we waited for 45 minutes to place our order. In fact we never ended up ordering, we never saw her again. We went to the register and had to ask them for the check so we could pay for the coffee. We might still be there if we didn't do that. We had a lovely breakfast at Bob Evans that morning and boy were we hungry when we got there. 3 days ago we ended up with Jen again at the table you can see in the photo that came equipped with lovely napkin stabilizers. They didn't help, the table still wobbled. What also didn't help was that we saw Jen twice during our entire experience. She sat us and dropped off our drinks. She was shocked that we already had our check when we stood up, this was because we had to ask someone else for the check because we couldn't find her for 30 minutes. Denny's, if you are listening, you need to retrain servers to give service and limit the tables per server if your servers can't visit a table more than 2 times in a dining experience. There is no need for servers to be double seating themselves when they can't take care of the tables they already have.

Average food. Fries are usually undercooked, soft, and soggy. But that's because the kitchen rushes food and doesn't properly cook it. Burgers are good. However, they scam you on sauce. DO NOT pay for extra sauce. They charge you $1 and give you only 2floz of sauce. Their own sauce cups they don't more than 50%. I like the food, but doing scammy things like this will ruin the experience and waste money. UPDATE: The ranch is also 50% water. So you get 1/4th of the cup with real rach or about 1 floz. This is a huge ripoff. You can taste the water, and it does not stick to the food. it just drips/runs off instantly. I respect restaurants but I don't respect scams or shady companies. The food is alright. But being charged for watered down condiments that are only half full is NOT an accident and done by the staff to take money from the customer. Also condiments are the cheapest part of the food. That is no a good business move and refined the experience because the side foods and some main foods require condiments. Cheap condiments make good food taste terrible, and make it a pain to eat fries. Why dip fries in water? You don't, so why give water to customers for their fries? You'll literally save less than 15 cents per floz based on some of the most expensive retail ranch sauces.

There seemed to only be two people working here, and they were trying to do all of their tasks together. There were dirty dishes on the tables, and no one was at the front register. Therefore, customers literally had to go look for the guy who was seating people. The waitress continued with her chores while quickly serving customers. Both were polite, but their priority was not customer service, nor keeping the tables clean. Because the restaurant was nearly empty, there were still some clean tables and booths. My veggie omelette was very good. My short stack of pancakes were spongy. This Denny's also does not offer the variety of syrups anymore, and syrup was not on the table. Now, patrons have to use what they bring with the meal. I don't recall seeing ketchup on the table either. However, I was seated where I wanted and enjoyed my meal. Their presentation and service could definitely be better; schedule more workers.

I read the reviews on this place after we were on our way and I became a little worried. The reviews are very much mixed. But, 30 minutes from home, with nothing else tempting in (the budget and) our immediate area, I wanted to stick up for this restaurant and say this place isn't that bad. But it was! I took the precautions based upon the reviews, I called to make sure it wasnt packed (and I made sure the manager on shift wasn't Brian.) We went on a Monday night, it was literally empty when we got there. By the time we started getting our food there were four other tables filled. It still wasnt packed. However, our food still took a while to get to us, even the appetizers. When we did get our entrees, they got some of the orders wrong: My husband ordered a bourbon bacon burger with turkey bacon, no cheese and no tomato. They got the order wrong three times!! Two of my daughters (aged 13 and 11) ordered well done sirlion steak. Both werent well done. One steak was very rare and bled all over the plate! The other one was medium. My 11 year old ate it anyway and came home sick. Last night, she threw up three times (she seems fine this morning, I think she just had to get it out of her system). My children complained that there was hair in their mozzarella sticks, stuck to their syrup bottle and on my daughters straw. All of these items were brought to our table, none of them were there when we sat down (and Im sure the straws came from the waitresses' apron pocket.) To Denny's defense, the manager came over and brought my husband the third (wrong) order herself and offered to replace it with anything else on the menu for free. My husband refused as everyone else in our group were finishing their meals by the time they offered. (He ended up getting to Wendys afterward.) They remade my daughters steak, which had to be taken to go because we were all done by the time she got it (We were there for two and a half hours). If all of this happens on a slow day, I see why there are so many bad complaints on this page. And I dont think I'm ever going to be able to convince my family to eat at a...

The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because Jesse who provided me with courtesy customer service. I ordered the sirloin medium well, mashed potatoes, sauteed squash/zucchini. This was at 7:17 pm on 4/26. I did not get my food until 8:10. The female with red hair who took my order went mia then when I ask about my food she seemed like I'm bothering her. She walks to the kitchen and talks to a coworker standing there. I saw her pull what was my food sitting of off the serving area but with no real urgency.(I tipped before hand on my card, mistake on my part.) I saw Jesse a worker walking by and asked her to following up on my food. Mind you it is an open floor plan and I can see the kitchen. The female with the red hair gave me my food so we can leave. Checked my food and my steak was rare, food was cold and less than a serving size of veggies. I called to speak to the manager and she told me to wait to speak to the assistant general manager. I waited but then got hung up on. I called back and told them I was waiting for the assistant general manager but the guy seemed confused so I was like "You know what I am coming up there!" I live less than 5 mins away had to dress my son who was already to go to bed. I arrive and had to wait for someone to even acknowledge that I had a walk in. I was taken care of by Jesse who apologized sincerely, refunded my money and then informed me the red haired chick was the manager! I'm like wtf she should not have any type of management position. If you hate your job so much don't show up. You are in a customer service industry, do better. The only reason I gave 2 stars is BC of Jesse. I will not patronize this Denny's again for lack of quality and customer service. I suggest you...

This is absolutely the worst dinner experience I’ve had out of all the restaurants serving in my life I came in for dinner late. The waitress came by at one point, so I’m sorry I’ll be with you soon. It was 40 minutes for zero minutes before she finally came, took the order then she couldn’t get the order rate to save her life. I ordered a hamburger with lettuce, tomato fried onions and she kept saying oh so you wanna cheeseburger or you want a double cheeseburger like no and I kept having to repeat it, then I wanted the red potato fries. She didn’t understand what I meant about that so I had to open up the menu and show it to her, she did bring me my ice tea but not until the dinner was served. She was nice and I feel bad for but she doesn’t speak English very well and I think that was part of the problem but the food the hamburger was dry even the grease dripped off of it so I’m sure it was poured onto the hamburger after the hamburger was fried then the fries the potato wedges were not just you to take them in and Paul on a plate. They were spread out each piece individual office of the other plus there was a lot a little crusty Bert things Subpar to say the least subpar. Absolutely the worst experience and I don’t. Their steaks are horrible, but I’ve heard many people talk about don’t bother steaks there are used to love their chicken dinner and it had it came with fresh. It was fried chicken with on fresh vegetables and if you look at the menu, it’s you see the orange for the carrots and the green for this and that know what you get or a fried brown mess that probably was first cooked that morning they’re not fresh vegetables not at all I am at now could recommend the eggs isn’t that pathetic , I don’t...
