We stopped here after a two hour drive to the Baltimore area to get a bite to eat. We came in and were told to seat ourselves so we chose a seat away from the bar area. There was only one person running the whole bar and table areas. I’m not even sure she was worried about us. Took us over 20 minutes to get our drinks ( three sweet teas, and. Sprite) which my wife had to go get and bring to the table for us. We then waited about another 30 minutes for our appetizers. We ordered two burgers, two orders of wings and a chili dog. About another hour after we got our appetizers we finally got our food delivered by the man who cooked it all and kept telling the lady it was done and ready to go to the table. Everything was good but cold by the time it sat in the kitchen for who knows how long. The staffing needs addressed and this place could be a gem. The owner is one of the biggest douchebags I've ever met. He threw out his trivia host, who was amazing and brought in a lot of business, because she played a song he didn't like. No warning, or discussion, just walked out and yelled and cussed at her, in front of customers, and then barred her from the establishment. After that, myself and the 8-10 people I brought with me to trivia every week will never set foot in there again. Also, the service is the worst I have ever seen in my life. When I attempted to voice my complaints about the service (very politely), the owner was irritated with me for complaining, and argued with me about what happened, even though he was nowhere to be seen all night. Local neighborhood pub with a pretty good kitchen. Depaula's represents arbutus pretty well. Their burgers and chicken wings are sourced from Truths butcher in catonsville. Which means they're great quality and local. They have a wide selection of half pound burgers and that's what I get just about every time I go in there. Not too happy with their black and blue burger. The blue cheese was overpowering. Wife and I like their spinach artichoke dip, it's decent. My friend really enjoyed their quesadilla. They don't have much for vegetarians. Tater tots and fries we're really good. Drink prices here cannot be beat. Cons: it's often crowded, noisy, new waitresses aren't fully trained, and a some nights it feels like a bar fight...
