When did it become acceptable and/or professional to be rude to anyone, let alone paying customers? I placed and paid for an order via the website and then went to my local Dominos to pick it up. Once I arrived at and walked into the store, none of the employees even acknowledged my presence despite the incredibly loud chime that is activated whenever anyone enters the restaurant. Not only that, I was the only customer in there and there were multiple employees just standing around including the obese manager on duty so I know for a fact that at least one of them saw me and/or heard the chime.
Several minutes passed by as I stood at the counter playing a game on my phone while waiting to be acknowledged and helped. After running out of patience due to the discourteous behavior that was being displayed, I asked if I could get some help. Instead of saying "I'll be right with you," apologizing or responding as if he actually wanted to work and/or cared about maintaining his position there, the obese manager responded by saying, "what?" After repeating myself, he proceeded to debate with me by arguing that I'd just arrived which wasn't true because, as I said earlier, I stood there for several minutes (long enough to run out of 5 lives on the mobile game that I was playing) before saying anything at all.
I told the obese manager that I'd been standing there long enough and he continued to go back and forth with me as if I can't tell time. When I pointed out to him that there were literally staff members just standing around, the fat manager argued that the other staff member didn't see me. So let me get this straight: the manager saw me yet chose not to utter a signal syllable to me until I said something to him (I mean how else would he have been able to lie about when I walked into the store if he suddenly became blind and couldn't hear?) and the other staff member was literally standing right in front of me on the opposite side of their work station but you expect me to believe that he didn't see me?
Even if he hadn't seen me (extremely unlikely), at the very least he should've heard the door chime when I walked in but I guess all of them suddenly became deaf and blind during those moments. Instead of taking accountability or even acknowledging what had transpired, the fat manager became argumentative by responding as if I was bothering him and then he walked over to the register, grabbed my food and pushed the boxes into my hand. That particular male is never nice or courteous when I go there and to top it off, they never get my damn order right. How difficult is it to put extra tomato sauce on a pizza?
I'll be ecstatic when this location goes out of business and/or gets replaced by a restaurant that consists of employees who understand the meaning of professionalism, kindness, respect and good customer service. Until then, I guess I will get my pizza from a different place moving forward. I'd only started ordering from there because I had gift cards but Dominos is the bottom of the barrel anyway and there are multiple restaurants in the area that sell better tasting food without subjecting paying customers to all of the unnecessary,...
Read moreThis fiasco started last night on Friday, due to short staff and a long delay we cancelled our order. We decided to give it another try today. I called my order in and spoke to Danielle to make sure there were no delays. She took my order over the phone: Medium Pan Pizza, Alfredo sauce, Phily steak, Mushrooms and Green Peppers. I even repeated the order to verify what I wanted. There were a few other items as well. I realized a few mins later after I got off the phone that I forgot to give my payment info so I called back and got someone else. They took the info and I thought all was well. much to my surprise, the order showed up without payment info attached and 10mins later a 2nd delivery arrived and I had to tell them it was already delivered??? Well, we sat down to eat and discovered the pizza was not only spilled in the box, but PINEAPPLE was also on our pizza! Dinner was ruined, the Wife got upset as if I bungled dinner. "No problem, Dominos has insurance", I said! It took over an hour to get someone to answer over there and when I asked to speak to the manager and asked for his name, He said, "I am not obligated to give you my name for safety reasons" (My Wife heard this) I let him know that I was an upset customer and the website said the Manager on duty was JOSHUA. He was rude and less than professional. I asked for a refund and instead of offering the insurance replacement, he just told me to throw the pizza in the trash. I will NEVER order from...
Read moreI’m giving this location this rating because of 2 horrible experiences in a row.
1st experience (2 weeks ago): The wife and I decided to order out because of a long day and not wanting to cook/clean up. Placed an order online for delivery and was given an estimated delivery time of 45-60 mins. After about an hour and a half, the tracker was stalled at “a specialist has assured your order is ready to go!” Or something to that effect. I called and they told me they were only working with 1 driver. Long story short, they screwed me over big time and took 3 hours to get my pizza (wound up going to pick it up myself).
2nd Experience (Today): Ordered online for pick up, because they had a deal. Went to pick the order up because the tracker said it was ready. I arrive to them saying, “oh, it’s still in the oven, about 5 minutes”. So, I wait. I finally get the pizza and get back home to find the pizza almost ice cold. This tells me I arrived and they couldn’t find my order, so they fabricated the story of it still being in the oven. I only live 2 mins from this location, so there’s no way it got cold, within the short drive...
