WARNING: KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS--This will be the second time they have charged our cards "by accident". The first time I had to dispute the charges and order a new card due to this apparently being an ongoing issue with the branch and I never said a thing about and did not go into the store. It was only about a $10 charge. However, the second time this recently happened, my husband went in as soon as we saw a charge of over $100 for his $5 purchase. The young lady was very nice and took his name and number for a manager to contact him. So in the morning, they had no one such as a manager on staff to help with an incorrect charge. Didn't hear anything all day, so he and I both went in that evening thinking they must have a manager that can reverse the charges and fix this before it processes and we have to get another new card. Well, they didn't have a manager on-site who could help, and ironically the woman who charged his card and served him that day (the one that made "the mistake") was working. She supposedly called the manager Kim and she told us that Kim would have to help us/him in the morning. Not happy about the fact that we walked in two times in the same day and NO one could help us with a "mistake" their staff made. They proceeded to tell us that the manager, Kim, would be in the following morning and she could rectify THEIR mistake. So my husband made a third trip first thing the following morning all to meet the manager who acted like she knew nothing and quite frankly didn't care and then changed her mind all of a sudden remembering, but proceeded to tell him that the owner would have to help him. Hhhmm....it appears that their are many employees who are in on this scam of using customers credit or debit cards to purchase gift cards(probably to re-sell for less than the value). If you have the app, it doesn't seem to be a problem. So not only does it feel scammy, there is NOT A SOUL THERE WHO CAN OR IS WILLING TO HELP RECTIFY AN "ERROR" THEIR STAFF MAKES,...
Read moreNot much point in stopping in here unless you're just trying to waste some time. Because you're going to. On at least three occasions with only one or two cars in front of me it's been a 10 to 15 minute ordeal to buy a simple cup of coffee. Once with only one car in front of me it took nearly 20 minutes...... Seriously 20 minutes? You probably wonder how this could be, I still wonder and I was actually there. This is easily the worst DD you could choose if you don't have a lot of spare time or patience. The experience here is second only to the DD on Allentown road. At that one you will get fast service and you will regret it. The last time I was there I got one of my favorites a frozen coffee with a shot of espresso in it. I literally had to stop my car and poured it out. If you can find an alternative place to patronize I recommend that you do not go to this spot or the one on Allentown road.
Update 6/02/24 : this place seems to have finally gotten the product right. You had still better have plenty of time to spare if you stop in at this location perhaps you need a nap or something, because you will have the time to take one before you move ahead in this line. I don't really get it, mostly because there is always four to as many as 6 individuals working here. Often they can be found in a cluster of up to four individuals huddling in a chat group as one or perhaps two are actually waiting on customers. They are all children of course this is the only location I've been to where I have not seen anyone who appears to be 30 years old or older since it opened. This May have something to do with it being one of the slowest if not the very slowest DD I've ever been to. Most times it doesn't matter if you are at the window or walk up You are still going to need plenty of time to waste at...
Read moreI always order via the mobile app so I can just pick it up quickly and go to work. The past 4 times I ordered a peppermint mocha latte, the espresso machine was down and I had to pick something else to have. The first time the lady just told me the espresso machine was down and she gave me a coffee with peppermint flavoring and cream and sugar instead. I didn’t think twice about it. The second time, a different lady told me the machine was down and asked if I’d like a donut or something to replace the difference in price. The third time I asked for a donut for the price difference and was given one. Which brings me to my experience today. The machine is still down, so I got a different coffee. I had ordered a vanilla glazed donut and a blue berry donut. I was told they didn’t have blueberry donuts today and asked if I’d like another vanilla glazed donut. I opened the bag when I got to work, to find 2 powdered sugar cream donuts. When Starbucks is out of something at a certain location it tells you when you order on the app. Maybe you all should consider doing this so customers don’t keep getting terrible...
