Five Guys — Restaurant in Maryland

I was just there on Saturday. I was the only person there, eating inside the restaurant during dinner time. I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers PLAIN. Just bun, cheese and the burgers. No extra toppings or condiments. Got a medium cup for the drink. What did it cost me?? $30 -Sunday I went to the local grocery store to compare the actual cost of making the same burger and drink combo. What did it cost me for the same two cheeseburgers and 12oz can of Coca-Cola?? Less than $6.

So... I think you 5 Guys, have not only priced yourself out of business. But I believe the employees there are helping themselves to ground beef and taking it home.

It was good while it lasted... but also happy I learned how to cook a better tasting cheeseburger, for the fraction of the price. (Thank You...

I am consistently disappointed at the location. The hotdog I ordered during my last visit was the worst I've ever eaten ..... in my life. It was covered in oil and mustard .... on the outside, not even warm, poorly built, and the bun was soggy. The fries were leftovers, not warm, but at one point either burned or spent too much time under the lamps .... again, they weren't warm. Confused about the fries ... yeah, I am too. They were overly salted as well. If you like Five Guys, consider going to another location. I've been coming here for years hoping against hope they would improve. We stopped in today, 8/8/21, right around the lunch rush. Despite there being a line in front of us with several people, the cashier, Gary S., greeted us with a smile and was super friendly, efficient, helpful, and genuine. He kept the line moving quickly without making anyone feel rushed while also engaging with with customers. The food was prepared quickly, correctly, and tasted delicious (we had a pretty big order, so this was super nice!). I know right now a lot of places are struggling and are understaffed and morale is down because of the pandemic but you'd hardly know it when you stop in here....
