*Update after another visit: Stopped in at lunchtime (11:45am) and were seated at the last open table in the dining area. It was 15-min before our server came by to take drink orders, and another 18-min for those drinks to arrive. The kids were starving by the time food arrived another 10-min later. Food was great, but they botched my wife's special burger order of a BBQ bacon burger with no cheese (it came with just bacon and no BBQ). Since the server was moving at a glacial pace, we asked for the check before we were done the meal. Check was received 5-min later and it took another 5-min for her to run the card and get back the bill for signature. I'm glad we had almost 2-hrs before our flight was boarding because this lunch was way too long due to slow service. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE IN ANY RUSH TO CATCH A FLIGHT! *First visit review below: Ate here for lunch with the family prior to our flight. The place was pretty empty when we sat at around 11am and service started off OK before trailing off as it got busier later. The food was pretty good but seemed pricier than it should, even by airport standards. The crab dip was small but tasty, and also needed more than 2 pretzel sticks with it. They had a kids menu but be aware that they don't have common kids' drinks like milk, chocolate milk, or apple juice. Our kids had to settle for lemonade and orange juice. My burger was ok but not great. The waffle fries were good and crispy. I'm glad we had plenty of time before our flight because the meal wasn't quick. It took a long time for our food to come out, and then also took a while to get the check and wait for the card to come back. We ended up using all of our buffer so it was time to board when we got to our gate. They need to add an option to order/pay at the table via QR code as many other airport restaurants do, but for now beware of trying to get a quick meal here if you have a flight soon.

Laying over at BWI today and decided to try this restaurant. Seen it many times but never stopped in. Everyone I saw were happy enjoying the multiple beer offerings and food choices. My server Patricia or Patty? was very nice and timely with her service. She happily gave me the fee extra minutes I asked for so I could get settled and review the menu. No drinks this time but I went off the main menu to try the side orders ...Steak Tips and The Roasted Veggies. The restaurant is aligned with a specialty Steak House and the Steak Tips, although tasty were nothing more than a cubed piece of some other cut of meat. It only weighed a little in on the 5 star rating. After I was done and taking some pics I talked with Katrina "Trina" George the manager and covered all aspects of my visit. She listened closely to my critique; never once talking over me or worse...making excuses. I suggested three larger sized and better quality steak tips to replace the ones currently used...time will tell if any changes are made. If I stop in again I will surely update this review! Now the Roasted Veggies w/Rosemary...Excellent. Bit overcooked and mushy. Nice solid bites that were cooked in olive oil...I believe. This could be a small meal in itself and in my opinion needs better placement on the menu...if they really now they will sell a lot more then! This is a great little place to try so on your next stop at BWI give it a shot...I think you will like it...Q!

The good: Zandra, my waitress, was kind, sweet, and helpful (thank you!). Food and drinks were tasty. Atmosphere is nice, along with music selection. They let you add a small crab cake to the burger for $2.99. Beers are actually reasonably-priced, even for an airport! $6-10ish craft drafts. The less than 5 star: The fancy local angus meat that they pride themselves on is pretty much par for the course (no better tasting than fast food burger meat…ok maybe a little better?). Medium was more like well done. The burger was quite small (photo makes it look much bigger) for ~$20. The mushroom(s) I added to the burger totaled .5 baby portobellos LOL. Will return.

I don’t typically write negative reviews as I tend to give people/companies/restaurants, etc. the benefit of the doubt but our experience here was abysmal. Service was decent enough (although our server was far more interested in the Ravens game than us) but food and everything else was awful. To start, everything is expensive as heck for what you get. My wife got the baby burgs app for her entree - she got 3 TINY slider burgers and no side for $14.79. She also wanted a side salad which ended up being $8 (eight dollars!) and it was tiny. Absolutely tiny. This wasn’t the worst of it, as her sliders were practically raw… I mean RAW. I don’t even think the sliders saw the grill. She stated it all didn’t taste good either. For me, I got the The Boss burger. Yet again, this burger was vastly undercooked. I mean pinker than pink. Not even warm. I also got the onion rings as a side and a side salad. Yet again, the side salad was tiny and I maybe got 3-4 very small onion rings that were luke warm. Between 1 very small app, 1 terrible entree, 2 super small side salads, 1 coke, 1 water bottle I was not communicated with about (more on that in a sec) and 2 small draft beers, our bill was over $76!! Absolute highway robbery. Regarding the water, when we initially ordered our beverages, I ordered a water. She asked if I wanted a water bottle instead so I could take it on the flight after dinner if I wanted. I thought, sure - I get the water that I ordered and if I don’t finish it, I can take it to my flight and finish it later. Well when we got the bill, I got charged over $3 for that water bottle. $3 for a bottle of water that I didn’t even ask for. I would of at least appreciated a notice, saying, hey you can upgrade to a bottle instead of a glass of water but it’s going to be a surcharge. Again, this was just the cherry on top of a terrible experience. Do yourself a favor and find literally any other option in this airport. We would of been more content eating at McDonalds 150 feet away in...

Meskerem was the name of my server. She was warm, friendly, present without being intrusive, and made excellent recommendations for me... options truly based on the two categories I was deciding between. I had the Boss Burger (BBQ, Bacon) with yellow peppers, a side caesar and a side of broccoli. Plus Snake Dog garlic aioli on the side. BEST BROCCOLI OF MY LIFE. I did not know that it was POSSIBLE to be as fired up about broccoli as I am about steak!!! First of all, I assert that that food was cooked with love. Lari and Brandon were enthusiastically cleaning up at the end, and I asked them who had cooked the broccoli. They were as hyped for me appreciating the broccoli as I was for eating it!!!! It was unreasonably good for an airport. Good enough that I would absolutely come if it were NOT in an airport! Good enough that I will come back every time I come through BWI!!! GOOD employees! GEMS! I was just as impressed that they were cleaning so enthusiastically at the end of the night, and that they were so responsive to my compliments. Also, AMAZING aioli... SO good that I asked for extra aioli and brought it home! As I did with the very generous portion of broccoli (I was glad there was so much because $9 for a side of broccoli is a crazy high price!) Truth be told, I ate so much broccoli, my belly was bursting on my one hour flight, but once I got in my rental car, I just craved more broccoli!!! (I've already told 3 people about it!) Anyway, your food rocks! Your staff rocks! Please pay them well, and I'll come visit your restaurant...
