I had the “pleasure” I’m going to a winery yesterday to enjoy Mother’s Day with my children came across this truck because of course it was the best one out there so I thought We get the food after a 30 minute wait which wasn’t the issue because of course it was super busy. My food was fine. I had the salmon bowl. My daughter had the shrimp bowl that had three hairs in it. We take it back to the truck. My daughter was just gonna get another meal, but the lady on the truck with utterly rude And of course, being a business owner, which you should have just done was refunded the meal so of course I go back to the truck trying to get a clear understanding. She pulls out the tap for me to still pay for my food, but refuse to give the refund at that moment as of right now I still have been yet to receive the refund I have contacted Apple to refuse it and to also tell them what happened as of now I have not heard back from the company or anything and guess what we have everything on recording everything that she said we recorded it because of course her story is gonna be totally different but we have the recording so what I would suggest is to cook without adding pieces of your hair in the food they were not wearing hairnets either, and since we took pictures of everything we can show thar as well. The fact that they did not just offer a whole refund but wanted us to sit here and go back-and-forth for $28 for just my meal because I didn’t say anything was wrong with my meal. It was her meal that had the hair in it by myself is also a business owner and again I would’ve just said let me just refund the whole meal tonight when I get off at 9 o’clock like she was saying but since we did not pay for the $28 when she was trying to sit up here and make us pay for it at that moment, but remember my credit is not back on my account. I’m not giving you any more more money without the guarantee of getting my money back so do with this as you please again the company still has not responded or refunded the money I’m already on my next steps. It’s more about principal at this moment and the unprofessionalism of the lady that I was...
Read moreWent to a winery yesterday where Heidi’s Eats N Sages Treats were stationed. The woman who took my order was very friendly and professional in assisting while I submitted an order for myself and a friend. I paid for my order and was told to return in twenty-five minutes. I was stunned by how much it cost as prices were not visible. $56 for two meals. Either way, I returned at that time and was told it would be another five minutes. I patiently waited. While the woman cooking, was yelling at the woman who took our order and this went on for some time off and on in front of several customers who were waiting for their orders or trying to place an order. Once my order was called, I grabbed our food and took it back to my friend. I ordered a salmon burger that came with fries, my friend ordered the chicken nugget basket with fries.
The salmon burger was unexpected as it is pictured on their menu was a salmon cake on a bun. What I received was a piece of salmon on a bun. Either way, I enjoy salmon in any form. The bun was stale and flavorless. I put the bun aside and just ate the salmon and that was okay until I got midway and realized that the salmon was undercooked. As in still very pink and a tough texture like raw fish. The fries were good.
My friend received two different kinds of chicken nuggets and they were watery? If that’s possible? Maybe it was the oil? Perhaps they could have been drained. The crust on the nuggets was a weird taste that I can’t describe as if several different kinds of foods were fried in the same oil. It was just not good.
We went back to the truck to share our concerns and the woman explained that they serve their fish slightly undercooked and if I had wanted it well done then I should have asked. I didn’t know I had to ask and was never asked how I would like the fish prepared. She kept offering us more food but never offered a refund. Overall, not a good experience and would not eat...
Read moreI visited Heidi’s Eats & Sage’s Treats on a Saturday evening. At first, we thought we had made a great choice — the Korean BBQ stall nearby smelled amazing, and everyone seemed happy and satisfied with their food. But we decided to play it safe and ordered a Salmon Sandwich and a Chicken Nugget Basket. I’ve always said no one can ruin chicken nuggets and fries, and for 35 years I was right — until yesterday. The nuggets tasted off, almost as if they had been freezer burned or fried in oil that had been reused too many times. There was also a strange aftertaste that lingered and was very unpleasant. While the food itself was disappointing, what stood out even more was how my concern was handled. When I mentioned the issue, Heidi did not offer a refund, only more food — which I didn’t want given the first experience. On top of that, her demeanor came across as annoyed rather than understanding, which was disheartening. Finally, I need to mention the way Heidi spoke to, who I assume was Sage. The interaction was shocking — raised voices, scolding, and embarrassing her in front of guests. That kind of treatment wouldn’t be acceptable behind closed doors, let alone in front of paying customers. Overall, this experience left me very disappointed. I hope this feedback encourages both better food quality control and a more professional approach to handling guests and staff.
