Jerry's Bistro — Restaurant in Maryland

I had high hopes for this place from the reviews, but I was pretty disappointed. Walked in and it smelled good. Sat down with a menu to figure out what we wanted. Went up and ordered. There was only one younger guy handling everything in the front (phone, walk-ins, doordash, bagging). He was so busy that everything took a long time. At one point there was 5 people in line and half of them looked annoyed because they had ordered online and it was taking so long. My order went out the door by accident with a doordash lady and he chased after her.

On to my food:

Mongolian beef: no spicy icon - came out so dang spicy I couldn’t eat it. The beef was in thick strips instead of flat cut. The onions were mushy. Not good.

Chicken broccoli: decent but not as flavorful as I am used to.

Pan fried dumplings: tasted like lettuce from the bed of lettuce it came on. Just no! Ugh.

Shrimp basket: husband liked it and said it was a great value for $11.50 16pc and crinkle cut fries.

Drinks: ordered 2 fountain drinks and the cups they gave us were a very thin paper cup. They were sinking in after 15 minutes. I thought my fingers were going to puncture it. Imagine a paper straw how they get soggy but a cup in that same material.

henlo i am the Jerry. I ate yummy brebger here and it was verty tastie. the cool feelgin of salmi and also pesto sliding over my gums and into my throat hole was quite enticing. i also had a fanatsic pizer it had 47! pepperoni on it!~!!!! most place i got to only give sad numbers maybe 30-35 pepperon. overall, jerry was a good restuarnat, i have anticipation to eat here many times in the near ufture. yumbo jarrys!!! Also, I dreank a Diet Pepsi here. The DIPET pepis was very tasty and nice and cold on my sore throat (i was sick while eting here) it had the perfecct amount of ice and was very very enjoyable. Make sure you oder the mozarla sticks as they pull apart beautifulty and taste fanabic. I GIVE JERBY'S A FIVE STAR RATING OUT OF FIVE FOR INCREDIBLE FOOD, SERVICE, ATMOSPHERE!!...

I ve been past the place countless times. I decided to look at the menu and called in last month. I ve been there 3 times since.I got the gyros twice. I can't find them anywhere in Calvert County. They were excellent both times a little salty but they always are anywhere. There was plenty of meat and made me sleepy.I got the Hunan chicken last night and it was perfect. Not overloaded with to much sauce and the vegetables were down perfectly. Egg rolls weren't greasy and the hot and sour soup was also good.
