Jerry Yum's... Wow!

I decided to come here after getting to Giant with my fiancee and their doors being closed despite advertising being open until midnight...

We ordered shrimp curry/curry shrimp with two shrimp egg rolls for pickup. I got my order, pulled out the parking lot and on to the main road. I was so hungry I grabbed an egg roll and started eating. My fiancee and I were talking so much and I was so hungry that I chomped down and didn't pay attention to the taste. Long story short, I made an illegal u turn headed back to Yum's because my shrimp egg roll was actually a steak roll. I don't eat meat so I was livid. I get back to yums with the other un eaten egg roll to tell them that it wasn't shrimp but in fact steak. The lady tells me no it's two shrimp egg rolls. I then break the egg roll in half to find a veggie egg roll. I end up having to go back in the trashcan right outside the restaurant where I threw the other part of the steak roll out before I went in to complain. I had previously explained to the lady that I threw the other part in the trash. She was insistent that they gave me two shrimp egg rolls. After all of that ,I brought the still hot steak roll to show them. After talking trash about me in their native language they were then apologizing for the mix up. All they did was give me a replacement for the steak. Doesn't make up for the treatment as if I would be dishonest just to get a free egg roll nor how my guts are going to feel after not eating meat and I haven't for years.

Shrimp and broccoli was basic. The oil was not drained from the sweet & sour chicken. Customer service was HORRIBLE! I didn’t experience it, but there was a homeless gentleman there, who literally had napkins wrapped on his feet as shoes, he asked for a bag for his food that he had paid for, and was denied a bag because he didn’t have $0.25. Yes, A QUARTER! I had to ask the bag charge to confirm and everyone there, we all shook our head. He asked for a hot sauce and she said she was going to charge him for that. When she told him his food was ready, unlike us and everyone else where our food was handed directly to us, hand to hand, she bagged his, and tossed it while saying what the order was. Like if he was a dog to fetch. To me, that was unacceptable. Honestly, I don’t plan to ever return to this place. We ended up getting him a bag, but that was...

I have been eating from this Jerry Yum's for over 10 years. They have some of the best chinese food in this area. The service is typical carryout behavior. Sometimes I get a really nice person when I call my order in. Other times, it's someone who is impatient and just wants to take the next call. The atmosphere is typical carryout layout. The dining area was cluttered with boxes and looked messy, which has not always been the case. I think it is their tactic to keep guests out the dining area. Lastly, they only accept cash, which is very annoying for me because I don't typically carry cash. Due to the distance and inconvenience of having to go get cash, I don't visit here as much. But the food never disappoints so it's all in what you are willing...
