Johnny's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Maryland

On 09/26/2025 I placed an order for pick up. Went to pick the order up and went home, the order was wrong. I called to let the lady know I was bringing it back and she was very argumentative. I brought the order back for my food to be remade. I sat in the store to watch them make my food and the cooks used their bare hands to touch everything. The cook was rubbing and wiping his hands on his dirty clothing, face and hair. They are unsanitary. They don’t wash their hands and no gloves were used. STOP SHOPPING IN PLACES THAT DON’T RESPECT YOU!

I walked in to make an order on a bright and sunny Saturday afternoon and the lady at the desk closed the screen while it was obviously already open. Her words…”you call”. I say no and ask her why she closed the window when I walked in. She looked down at her notepad like she was prepared to take my order. I asked her again and she continued to ignore me. I kindly picked up my stuff and walked out. I could go back and forth and argue and be upset, but I’m just choosing not to spend my money in places that don’t respect the community that pays them to stay...

Old mom and pop shop, in the neighborhood for decades. Rarely go there now but the food quality is good and has not changed. The one lady behind the counter always has a attitude. Unsure why she is the front because she has been like that for YEARS. Besides her, you can expect decent quality food, for okay prices. (1 shrimp egg roll is almost $2, sometimes my fries are not well cooked.)
