I placed an order through the app that was for drive through pickup and provided my boyfriend and cousin with the order number for pickup. Once they arrived at drive thru and gave the order number to the employee over the intercom, the employee gave verbal confirmation that they see the order on their end and for the car to proceed to the window.
At the first window, this other employee then told them that he doesnât see the order and instructed them to go to the next window. After a long and patient wait, they were hastily handed a bag with someone elses items, nothing in the bag was what i had ordered. My boyfriend told them that this was not the order since all he knew was that i had ordered desert items and this bag had nuggets and a slurpee coke. He reiterated the order number and this female employee who then stated âYOU DONT NEED AN ORDER NUMBER, JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU GOT.â My boyfriend then said that he was picking up for someone else so he only knew the number and not all the items, but that he would quickly call to figure out what exactly the items were. And this employee then proceeds to loudly say âHOW DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ORDERED, ARE YOU OKAY??â and then the other employees began to laugh behind her. I mean what the hell⌠Iâm pretty sure another reviewer here is talking about the same woman (older black lady with an African Accent who works night shifts) so this isnât even her first time doing this. Sheâs not fit to be working if she yells at and berates paying customers on the regular.
After this insulting and berating behavior, my boyfriend and cousin had to drive off without even getting the right order. And fyi, the employees most definitely had the order on their end because the app stated that the order was completed, so someone at the McDonaldâs wouldâve had to process it as âcompleteâ.
This behavior is unacceptable and frankly disgusting. I require a FULL refund and some disciplinary action to be taken, bcs how are you going to borderline bully your customers?? The lack of cohesion and respect from the night crew is...
Read moreI used to stop by after Church every week to quickly grab something for lunch, but a couple weeks ago I saw some things that convinced me to never go back to this location again. The line to the drive thru was long, and didn't seem to be moving very quickly, so I decided to go inside. I was greeted by a pleasant employee who took my order. At the end, I changed my mind and decided that I wanted something different than what I had initially said, so the employee politely called for her manager to make the change. The manager rolled her eyes and groaned at the employee as she walked over and asked the employee, "Are you sure you can do this?" (Keep in mind this was ME changing MY mind, not the employee's fault at all). The poor employee, who was no older than 18, looked terrified and quickly apologized for doing nothing wrong. As I waited for my food, I saw the manager eating and playing on her phone while the other employees frantically filled orders and tried to keep the lines moving. Another employee called for the manager no less than five times as loud as he possibly could until the manager finally helped him. If you're ever stuck in the drive thru line for a while, this is probably why- the managers aren't doing their jobs! Now I realize the reason why McDonald's employees are often so grouchy is because of the awful treatment they're getting from their managers. I will never support this...
Read moreAfter waiting for over 15 minutes in the drive-through line, I had told the person who was taking the orders I was there to pick up a mobile order, and after telling them my order code I was told to drive to the second window. I repeated my order code to the person operating the second window after which he looked genuinely confused as to what I was referring to, and after a moment he told me to continue to the next window to pick up my order. I proceeded to the next window where the attendant immediately handed a bag of food out to me, containing several items I did not order. I handed the bag back and stated again that I was there to pick up a mobile order for a specific order, and told her the order number. The attendant quickly snapped at me saying âWe donât need your order number, just tell me whatever you got!â I was not the one who had placed the order, so I wasnât aware of the entirety of what was ordered prior to my arrival, and upon hearing me explain that I didnât know the exact contents of my order the attendant asked me rudely, âHow do you not know what you ordered??? Are you okay??â To which several employees laughed at her telling me this.
Regardless of the time, or how busy you may be this is not the way to treat customers. Truly off putting and begs the question of why they use order numbers if they arenât used to help employees know whose order...
