Yesterday was a horrible experience at this store. I pull up to get my food and the young lady in the drive through is playing with her nose. As she was a teen, I lightly mentioned it to her so she was aware, she storms off and another girl comes to the window to help. They then ask me to pull up and park to wait for my food. If I wanted to park and wait, I wouldn't use the drive through. Also, at this point I don't trust your hands as the young lady was playing with her nose.. so I ask for a refund. The manager (white, older lady with strawberry blonde hair and long natural nails) comes to the window yelling " well I still need you to pull over" I stay put as I waited in line like everyone else. She then comes into the parking lot yelling " maam I told you to pull up". I'm not sure who she thought she was yelling at but I had to tell her I really don't care, you're not going to yell at me in this drive through. Under surface racism will always show in these instances. Manager had no right to yell at me, if fries were not ready and I need to pull over how are you serving the cars behind me? Everyone gets fries! To top it off she would not give me a receipt for the refund or the original purchase, saying that she needed to keep it! She treated me horribly. I am still very upset about that...
Read moreAfter recently moving to the Glen Burnie area, I can say this is my least favorite location so far in the country.
My girlfriend and I walked in since the drive thru line was exceptionally long and we ordered using the screens. Ours didn't give a receipt since the paper was out so we couldn't even dispute the order later....
My girlfriend ordered a double filet o'fish and a vanilla ice-cream cone and I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese with a big Mac (for lunch the next day) and an oreo McCurry.
Took 10 extra minutes after getting the food to get the treats and while standing there trying to get attention we were sort of ignored. When I said we were waiting on two items I heard "they still want the mcflurry and cone?".... yeah... I paid for it. This isn't a charity. Got in the car and my girlfriends double filet o' fish was a single... I still paid for the double and because their machine was out of paper it couldn't be disputed. A little disappointed, especially since the fries were old and dry and the patties on my burgers were abysmally dry. I could eat my shoe and it would be more juicy than those patties.
So far I've given this place multiple chances and there's always something wrong. I'm not normally one to complain since people have their off days but 3...
Read moreUpdate: call me crazy but when I order table service on the app table service is what I expect. Maybe I have a bad definition of the phrase table service, but my expectation understanding of that phrase is that they bring the food to your table within a nice friendly smile. This door thinks they can call your table number from the counter and you come to them. For that reason I have reduced my service rating for this location.
As McDonald's go they are all really about the same. The one trend I have noticed in this area is that when you order an ice cream cone and are the only person in the car they give you the ice cream cone, which isn't exactly something you can put down, first. Then while you're holding something that you can't put down and would become very messy if it fell over they decide to hand you everything else that you ordered. What do they think I'm going to do with my hand that's got an ice cream cone in it while I'm trying to also deal with taking food from my left side of my body to put it down on my right side of my body.
I feel like this is something that shouldn't have to be said but seriously, can't you give the stuff that can be put down like the bag of food and the drink into a cup holder before you give the one item in the order that can't...
