Okay, so the fact that I have to do this in 2025 is ridiculous & it's truly sad. Especially being new to the area……. I called and asked if they were looking for any managers at this location at the moment. The manager told me yes and if I can come in and talk to the supervisor now…... I told her I was right on the way and I did………. I walked in, stood at the counter for about 5 minutes no one acknowledged me, but people were standing at the bagging station right in front of me..…… Finally, when a lady from the back (manager) was leaving, she acknowledged me and she yelled to the back (in Spanish) who I was and what I was here for. [ Now I know that I’m a young black girl, but I’ve been in the restaurant business long enough to know and understand at least a little bit of Spanish] When she yelled to the back who I was and what I was here for, people LITERALLY came up to see me from the kitchen, from the fry side AND people upfront all turned to me. It literally was like I was in a movie…. All eyes were on me… One guy started laughing by the window posi system… others started speaking in Spanish… and another two people must’ve been a couple because they were kissing by the fry machine???? Anywho …..after (who I’m guessing the supervisor was) walked outside (probably following the manager that was leaving) she came back in to me about 2 minutes later (I’m still just standing at the front) and says “oh I’m sorry, we’re not hiring for managers anymore. Only crew” …. That’s the most blatant and bigot thing I’ve ever experienced. Read moreThe shift Manger was combative and rude when all I asked for was his name to file a complaint against for poor customer service. All because him and the workers did not know how to read English to understand the coupon inquired. I asked for the store manager name and contact information and the shift Manager would not comply and refused to knowledge my request and assisted he was going to call the police on me because he felt threatened due to I asked for his name and Manager name. These are the issues with franchise facilities, no one holds employees like this shift manager who was in conflict with me accountable for their actions. I am never coming back, I will be going to the other McDonald's down the street and recommend others to not support this establishment and go to a corporate facility further down on route 3. It is better in service and mannerisms and not as ghetto as the franchise. I hope the store manager/owner reads this and re-trains his employees to provide its customers great service instead of provide horrible service and when someone ask for their name. To give it instead of threatening customer to call police and not disengaged anymore. However since I could not get the shift managers name and he bullied the other employees to not say anything, I tool a picture of the $13.75/hr shift manager. I really hope the Store Owner contact me back, I can provide pictures of the disrespectful shift manager who refused to give me his name! BTW this incident occurred on Sept. 4 around 7:30ish maybe the Store Owner is able to identify the shift manager and retrain the misleaded manager to a better, sensible manager in addition, if I could get this McDonald's zero stars,...
Read moreAsked for a quarter pounder meal and a shake. No shakes. Surprise surprise. I have heard from more the one person that most of the time that McDonald's doesn't have shakes it isn't a coincidence. Usually it is because they don't want to clean the machine. Not sure if that is true but more often than not they are "out of shakes". So I ask to have the shake taken off of my order. The cashier says ok. But here comes the frustrating part. I get back even less change than I would have if I had still gotten the shake. I told her it wasn't right and she just stated at me like I had five heads. She then walks away with my change and receipt to see the manager. Oh and by then there were about 7 people waiting in line at this point. She comes back and still tries to hand me the same incorrect change. Finally another employee comes up front and is able to figure out what my change should be. Not sure how we have a cashier that can't do simple math. Not to mention by the time they figured it all out my food was cold.Yet one more reason I don't frequent McDonald's very often. Now I will make it even more infrequently. Like never. Hit the one star by accident 0stars for this horrible...
