For whatever reason this place can not get itself together. I have been going here for years and understand food service is a revolving door for new employees. Training takes a while and I get that it won't always be perfect. But this location consistently can NOT get orders correct, in person or through a mobile delivery site. They have 0 communication with customers about their order status. When you call to inquire what's happening you get someone who answers and immediately hangs up the phone. It is 12:38pm. I placed an order this morning at 10:30am. Had over half a dozen dashers go to the location to pick up my order. All of which were able to enter the store (per the location showing them enter the store) and none of them received my food from this location. All of my dashers dropped the order over and over again because the location would not produce the order (A simple 20pc with a fry and sweet tea) Are you out of food items? Is someone having a medical emergency in the store? Did NO ONE SHOW UP TO WORK TODAY? If something is happening that prevents this location from fulfilling food orders there needs to be something done with the online ordering, like turning it off so no one wastes their time and money ordering from a location that says they are open and accepting orders, when they have for whatever reason decided to CLOSE at 12:30pm when my final dasher tried to pick up the order. But the online sites are all still up showing they're open. This is ridiculous and I'm tired of wasting money on this location. As someone who has worked in food service for the last 10 years I can not comprehend how one location is so continuously poor with service. I've seen one manager actually attempt to maintain order within the staff. And that poor man got brushed off by the silly teenagers in the back. Seems like McDonald's likes handing out free paychecks to people who...
Read moreWe pull up at 10:05pm, try the first door - locked. There are people in the dining room. We walk around to the main door - the sign says the dining room is open until 11pm (and drive-thru open 24 hours) - door is locked. Two employees look at us, look around, make no-go hand gestures. We indicate the sign showing they're supposed to be open. They shrug and turn away.
We were only going to buy food because all three of us needed to use the bathroom very badly and were 3 hours from home, so we went next door to the IHOP and they let us use the restrooms. But once relieved, we thought a little coffee would be nice for the ride, so we try the McDonald's drive-thru. Nobody responds when we pull up to the ordering mic, so I say, "Hello?"
"Yes, what do you want?"
"I'd like a medium coffee, black and sweet, please?"
"We don't have NOO coffee!"
"...Okay, how about iced coffee?"
"Uh, I don't know. I mean, I could look."
"Would you, please?"
"...Naw, we don't have it."
Drive-thru is open 24 hours and they don't have coffee. Staff wavered between rude and ignorant. We were blocked in to the drive-thru because 2 cars have pulled in behind us and the line in front of us hasn't moved. It took 12 minutes for us to get past the serving window (having ordered nothing).
I've seen McDonald's people work through bad rushes, and I don't envy the stress. But they work through it, and can still be courteous. When your posted hours say you're Open, you are supposed to be open. Within a minute or two of closing time? Okay. But this was no less than 50 minutes before the dining room should have been closed. A 24-hour drive-thru needs to have coffee; this is one of the foundational social contracts in America. And every employee presented to us was rude. I don't expect every employee to be the Dutchess of York, but this was a perfect storm of poor management, conduct,...
Read moreDeplorable…. We went to this McDonald restaurant on on Thursday October 3,2024 at ablut 920 pm! The line was extremely long we waited in the driveway for 29 minutes total’ we ordered through our mobile app which usually means that the wait is shorter. When we got to the drive thru speaker the cashier spoke but we were not able to understand the distorted message because the speaker was messed damaged. Ee waited at the speaker for a 2 minutes to get further instructions but proceeded to the window after not hearing anything! Once we got to the 1st window no one approached us! So in essence we went to the 2nd window! Once we got to the window the cashier asked us what we ordered then slammed the drive through window! She came back minutes later demanding that we move to the parking area because she was waiting on our quarter pounder! We said no because at that time we had waited in the drive thru already for 24-26 minutes and was already late for our appointment. The employee then slammed the door again, rolled her eyes then walked away. Then another woman came to the window and asked us to move again we explained ourselves and respectfully declined to move! We told the pther person we would accept mcdoubles instead so we don’t hold uo the line! That woman said ok then came back Seconds later with our order’ ! Just want to say how disappointed me and my family are’ poor customer service for sure’ slamming the window on us was Just disgusting and disrespectful! We are now refraining from ordering at mcdonalds because we just feel like we as customers are not valued! So sad and shameful ! Oh by the time we got home we realized all food...
