Mi Gran Mariachi — Restaurant in Maryland

The place is bizarre, to say the least. Hours that are posted on their FB page are very different from actuals. There is 1 guy who speaks some English, but very poorly. Good luck finding a menu for take out. They are always empty at lunch time. I managed to order take-out recently (called, talked to two people and convinced one to text me the menu), and when I walked in around noon on Friday there were 4 customers in the whole joint and the music was blaring louder than in night clubs. Definitely not the place if you’re looking for good Mexican cuisine. Our family went here to eat, paid $100 for a family of 5, and left hungry (went somewhere else) because no one really liked the food. The chips were stale, salsa was like a soup, cheese quesadilla tasted like shredded Colby jack cheese from a bag thrown on a tortilla and heated in the microwave. Rice had veggies in it (similar to that you’d find at a Chinese restaurant) and was definitely undercooked and also tasted bagged and frozen. Went here with my family for lunch time. We were the only ones there so you’d expect good and speedy service. The service was horrible. The waitress handed us menus without saying a single word.
