Panera Bread — Restaurant in Maryland

I am extremely disappointed, I placed an order at 3:41 p.m. And received an email shortly after that say that my order would be ready at 3:51 p.m. At the time of the order I requested curbside pickup because I had back surgery last week and I'm not quite ready to do a lot of walking and I can't carry anything yet. I arrived at 4:19 called from the curbside pickup area and gave them my parking space number. I again requested curbside delivery because of my back I was told that she would bring it out as soon as they had it ready. I waited until 4:56 to call back and when I did she asked me if I had ordered at the right store. I gave my name and my phone number again To which she replied we do not have your order on file and I didn't have a number to call you back so we haven't done it sorry about that. Print it out that I did have an order number and I had checked my bank account and money had been taken from my account. All she said Joas sorry about that, no offer to complete the order that had been mysteriously lossed or give me a refund. I have Included a copy of my bank statement and also of my order with the order number saying it was to be picked up at the Hunt Valley store. Please refund the total amount including the $15 tip that I had added for the server. Unfortunately distort does not have a very good reputation, my daughter worked here ages ago and ran into some really suspect management. I can see that morale is no better but obviously they've done something right because they're still here. Thanks...

this place used to be my go to, but some of the new workers make so many mistakes. it can be extremely frustrating, especially if i’m in a hurry. here are some of my experiences:

-asked for two iced chai tea lattes. it even said it on the receipt, yet the worker making the drinks made them hot instead of iced. i was late for a meeting due to this because they had to remake them.

-asked for a sandwich without sauces. once again, it was even on the receipt. i take my food, get home and of course, the sandwich has tons of sauce.

-i went with my typical order. when my food was ready, the workers called my name. my bag had my name and my receipt with my correct order. i drive home and open the bag to see that the food isn’t even what i ordered. it was not even close.

-a worker carelessly threw my containers of soup in a to go bag. a few seconds later as i was walking out, the bag fell apart because the soup spilled and it was seeping through. covered in tomato soup, i had to rush back in. and everything else in the bag was ruined.

i’ve had good experiences too, but the abundance of mistakes the workers make is slowly pushing me away from the hunt valley location. the other paneras have shown a much greater performance recently.

My husband, son and I love Panera; we have been going there at least 2-3 times a week lately and my husband goes to the one in Huntvalley every day due to him working down there. Our experience has been amazing every time we go there!! The employees are friendly and always remember our names/faces and greet us with a smile and ask about our day! They even remember our order. No matter how busy they are they seem happy to be there, which is not always an easy task; I know this from my customer service experience. It seems no matter how you feel going in, you always leave with a smile. Not to mention every employee has been more than kind; for example a few times we have been a little short on change or have asked for a baguette or even a cream cheese after we had already ordered and the manager had allowed them to simply give it to us.. which it may only been 50 cents or a dollar, but the gesture really goes a long way, and just makes the experience better. Also the portions and prices are spot on! Other Panera's we have noticed are a couple dollars more expensive and the portions aren't always that great. But we have never had an issue with this location. It definitely makes the top 3 favorite places to eat for my husband, son and I !! Absolutely...
