Per my wife"I unfortunately made the mistake of prepaying for my room for 4 nights. I knew as soon as I stepped into the entrance near the elevator it wasn't the right hotel for me, there was a musty, gassy odor. Not very pleasant. The room was decorated fine but it looked like an old room with a new coat of paint. The toilet was a kid's toilet so close to the ground. It was horrible why wouldn't they have a normal toilet? I thought it would be nice having a balcony but there was no chair, very blah. I sleep with my curtains open, imagine my horror when I couldn't see out the window it was all covered in white stuff! I know it's condensation but one expects to be able to see out of a window. I would have nightmares when I woke up during the night!! I knew I couldn't stay here so I cut my losses and moved to a nicely renovated Hilton property in Arundel Mills. It wasn't a suite but it was extremely comfortable, I have no regrets!"

Checked in my room yesterday soon as I walked in there was a bug by the bathroom closet door I try to ignore it and just kill it and go about my night then unfortunately soon as I walked into the room where the bed was there was 3 bugs on the ceiling I was upset and disgusted one because I believe they were roaches and I’m highly allergic to them so unfortunately I had to leave and check out wasn’t even there for 5mins such a huge inconvenience and had to pay for another hotel close by . Stuff didn’t seem surprise at all like it was common at there hotel !

-Beds were nice, furniture looked slightly dated -Bathroom was nice, vanity counter was small -But the entire reason I'm giving a 3 star was the internet. The internet was not even there, we couldn't connect during our entire stay. We have 280 days this year stayed in hotels, so we know how to work the internet. (And there is nowhere to plug in either) We ended up having to use our Hotspot to even use YouTube. Do not recommend this hotel if you need any sort of internet, because it does not work!

90% terrible resident accommodating service. King size rooms don’t have microwaves(request only) and weren’t even by request once you reach the hotel. They were out. Refrigerator has no shelving and small. Had a room on the north side of the hotel where there was extreme disturbance from people playing loud music and a party in THEIR parking lot. Explain this to the front desk and was told that they would check into it but nothing was ever done. Also had to request for extra towels and noticed that other residents did the same.

Was eventually accommodated when I asked to change to an inside room on the other side of the hotel by another staff member. BUT!, there wasn’t a refrigerator in that room. So instead of being told that there wasn’t anything they could do, or wait for them to do it, I transferred the refer myself.

I reserved this hotel from the reviews and I’m a rewards member. I reserved a room on the first floor because I was helping a friend who had just had heart surgery and their doctor had instructed them not to ascend stairs due to their condition. I explained this to the staff and it seemed it had fallen on deaf ears.

I DO want to give my extreme thanks to Cheryl, one of the hotel’s housekeeping personnel for going over and above the call of duty for finding a microwave the next day for us. The front desk had told me the next day that the hotel was full for the next 25 days and there weren’t any available microwave’s to be handed out. Interesting enough the parking lot was empty the entire day (a Sunday)into the evening, so how was it that the hotel was full.

Thanks again Cheryl for your help!! We really appreciated it.

I’ve stayed at several Marriott Courtyard’s across the country for many years and this is the worst service I have...

Forget any bad reviews of this property! They have since completely renovated the rooms and are about to further renovate the lobby restaurant which is currently open for coffee and breakfast. The staff told me they will be adding more food options for dinner soon. I got great Sushi for dinner at the Wegmans just across the road.||I stayed at this hotel years ago and loved it, as it's and tucked back from the roads in a nice greenspace with trees. What's great about these Old School Courtyards is they have actual balconies surrounding a nicely landscaped courtyard with a firepit and sitting area. These particular Courtyards are well built and not made of "cardboard" like so many of the newer chains. I have stayed in many luxury hotels so when I have to stay in a smaller chain hotel, I try and find these "older" Courtyards by Marriott.||The staff was extremely accommodating and especially the guy (I wish I could remember his name!) when I checked in who helped me find the exact room I wanted in a specific location. I had a beautiful large tree right outside my balcony in room 340. If you want a private, peaceful stay this hotel is it. Especially for a solo traveler.||Another plus is the 12:00 checkout which is...

I make a huge mistake in prepaying for this hotel since I drive myself crazy analyzing which hotel to stay at. My radar was off on this one. All I saw was a suite with a balcony and thought this was the hotel for me. I knew from the minute I walked in the side door and smelled a nasty odor (maybe mildew) that I made a mistake. I took the one elevator to my room. There was a young lady riding the elevator in her bare feet. Couldn't figure that one out since there's no pool! The room was like putting lipstick on a pig. Way outdated but trying to cover it up. The toilet is a children's toilet, so close to the ground! Why would you put that in a hotel room, it made no sense!! The balcony had no chair and was very blah. Not a place where I'd want to sit and enjoy nature. The worst thing was the window in the bedroom. I sleep with the curtains open, don't like a dark room, when I saw this window, it freaked me out. I know it's condensation, but it was horrible. I would have nightmares if I woke up during the night and saw the window!! I knew I couldn't spend one night at this property so I left and found a very nicely renovated Hilton property in Arundel Mills. I may have lost my $$ but I have...
