Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

OMG I LOVE PAPA JOHNS SO MUCH!!! Literally the best pizzas I've ever had. These people really know what they're doing. I always get the Garden Fresh since I'm a vegetarian, and their pizzas are absolutely amazing. The crust is soft and chewy while being a bit crisp at the same time tho never burnt. The toppings are pretty generous and they have a lot of flavour to them (bell pepper on pizza is amazing omg). The sauce is so delicious and the whole pizza has just so much flavour to it! The pizzas never leave me feeling hungry nor bloated, they're perfect. They even TASTE healthy!!! I even eat all the cheese off the pizzas, with most other pizzas I'll put most of the cheese off to the side and such bc I'm not a big fan of cheese tbh, but OMG even the cheese on this is good. I usually don't like tomatoes on pizza but omg Papa Johns just makes it work. Papa Johns just makes everything work!!! The food is serviceable. Sometimes it's cooked well, most of the time it's a little under or overdone, but nothing too offensive. On occasion, they get a dipping sauce wrong, but that's not a huge deal for me.

For the most part the drivers are good people, but this one dude was without a doubt the rudest driver I've ever had deliver anything. Every time I ask for a no contact delivery and he'll just stand there ringing the door bell until I answer.

In my most recent encounter, I told him, "Dude, this is the third time in a row I've asked for no contact delivery and not gotten it."

He proceeds to give me a thumbs up and walk off without so much as a single, "Sorry."

I call back to him, "Next time I'm not tipping if I don't get no contact."

He turns around, responds, "Next time it's taking an hour," and walks off as he flips me off.

I'm done with this store.

So I ordered dominos, but my mom and brother got papa johns. They put in their online order at least 15 minutes before I put in mine, and theirs said it would take 47-57 minutes. As we waited for our food, my dominos came after about 40 minutes of placing my order (part of it was wrong though so they had to send me another one), but my mom’s and brother’s pizza from papa johns still hadn’t arrived. I joked around saying “wouldn’t it be funny if my replacement pizza from dominos came before your papa johns?” And you know what happened? It did. I got TWO separate dominos orders before my mom and brother got ONE order from papa johns. About an hour and 15/20 minutes and for about half that time it said “out for delivery”.
