Update: So we went through the drive-thru today. The person on the intercom to order sounded bored out of their minds. Like, so incredibly bored and tired. I got tired just trying to order, like oh my god you get paid to be here, brighten up, smile a bit, open your mouth when you take orders. Sound like you care about your job or get someone who will! If I just wanted some food I could have made some ramen.
There's more to the experience than just paying 60 bucks for some chicken.
Not only that, the window staff did their job, but they were unprofessional. Did not speak clearly or professionally, and handed things out the window blindly.
I don't work with you, we aren't doing roofing together. Face me, be courteous, speak clearly.
And the inside, behind the counter? Disgusting. This place desperately needs to be renovated and the staff need to be retrained on presentation and professionalism.
The food was fine. Not the best, not the worst.
Honestly between the experience of waiting an hour for delivery, and getting the exact same meal within 5 minutes in-person... living 10 minutes away, I was planning on picking up my orders in person all the time.
But after today, I'm probably going to drive to the next town over or just go to a different restaurant. This is just sad.
I get it, you're tired, you work in fast food, but you have a job. Get it together! If you can't be presentable in fast food do you really think you're going to be better off somewhere else?
It's SO WEIRD ... why does it take an hour to receive food from this location? I live MAYBE 15 minutes away. This is fast food is it not? How do you serve a drive thru when it takes 45 minutes per customer?
Yeah, this doesn't add up. At least the food tastes good, even if it is missing ingredients.
Please tell delivery drivers to read delivery...
Read moreMy experience with Popeyes has been and unfortunately continues to be that employees behind the counter move with NO sense of urgency to take nor fill customers orders in a timely manner. I stood in line 20 mins to place an order with 6 customers ahead of me. The chicken trays were filled (so the kitchen staff wasn't the problem; the cashiers were the problem. I ordered a 10pc meal, and the cashier told me that she was waiting on red beans & rice for my order, she left the counter and had not returned by 10 mins later. I asked another employee if they knew how much longer it would take for the item, and she handed me the container and apologized because she didn't know that's what I was waiting on. Popeyes employees are horribly trained. Delays in taking orders timely is standard practice regardless of how long customers stand in line. Taking more than one order at a time is a foreign concept. Standing around waiting for an item from the kitchen seems to be the order of the day, when instead of waiting, the cashier could perhaps take the next customer's order so that customers aren't waiting for chicken that is readily available to purchase. Approximately 18 months ago I stopped visiting Popeyes because the service was horrible then, and I decided to try again this year, and unfortunately, the service is still horrible. It obviously is Popeyes' culture because this dysfunctional type of service has happened in different locations. This falls to management. Do better! I won't spend my money at an establishment that doesn't value the customers time and money (which is how every employee earns a wage). It's simple: without the customer there would be no need for you the employee! Fix your mess,...
Read moreThis location has been horrible the entire 9 years I've lived here. No matter the renovation, no matter the new management, it's been horrible each and every time. I go back every few months to a year to see if things have improved to no avail. Tonight I ordered dinner from this location while shopping in Sam's Club. From pressing submit until I got to the counter was about 23 mins. I stood there for 5 before I had to get someone's attention just to ask was someone at least working on my food. A young man in a red hoodie under his work shirt ruffled through the mobile order to find mine at the very bottom then asked two young ladies at the front if they either worked on it or could they. Neither budged. I watched one of them continue to stack new mobile orders on top instead of on the bottom leading those preparing food to grab the newest orders first. After standing there for 15 mins someone, presumably the manager, began working on my order. She's about 5'6" slim build, bright skinned, with corn rows in her hair. Tattoos on her arms and a gray shirt....the only one which is why I figured she was the manager. She clearly overheard me complaining to my husband about how it had been 45 mins and my food still wasn't ready. She stopped working on my order, began asking others in line for the name on their order then turned complaining to another employee citing "im hot, im tired, im hungry and I don't have time for this". I keep hoping things will change, especially when one of my children would eat it daily if we'd let her. This is the attitude every time. Even when they're not busy the service is still slow and rude. I HIGHLY recommend never visiting...
