Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

Edit: Owner reached out to me and apologized. Said she would refund me and comp me a future order, and they did.

Ordered delivery at 430. Said it was out for delivery at 5. Then at 530 it said it was delivered. Obviously, it wasn't. I called the store, the manager called the driver and said they'd be there in 10 minutes. Another 30 minutes go by, I call again, wait on hold for 10 minutes. Manager informs me that now the driver was in a minor accident. They offered to remake and deliver, which would be another hour.

I don't quite buy the whole story -- the driver clearly scanned the order as delivered when it wasn't, if they were in an accident, it would've happened then. Instead, the manager tells me nothing about an accident the first call and then tells me this after the second call.

I'm not sure why they did this, but I basically waited almost two hours for no reason. Extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't order from this store, since it seems like they employ people who couldn't care less (and I get it, it's not a great job, but make an...

I received a notification that my order was ready for pick-up. I arrived at the Papa Johns location, my order was not ready. The employees did not seem to be busy with other customers (or) orders. The employees were not friendly and had a disheveled appearance about them. I was told 10min for my order to be ready. Sat inside the Papa Johns patiently. 12mins goes by, my order still is not ready, the employee said another 10mins. If I did not already pay for my food, I would have walked out at this point. No one apologized for my wait. I live, literally 1mile from this Papa Johns, my pizza was cold, hard and with barely any toppings, the garlic sauce was missing for the pizza. The cheesy bread was cold as well and very stiff, the sauce was missing. We were starved at this point and decided to eat our pizza anyways. After 15mins after eating the Papa Johns, I started to feel sick and was vomiting for the next hour. My husband had serious stomach pains throughout the night. We will NEVER return back to a Papa...

First let me say I love papa John's Pizza, it is my favorite pizza place normally. But today I had a very poor experience with this location. I ordered on the app. After I waited an hour I checked the tracker to see what the status was. It said delivered so I checked my porch, nothing. I gave it a little longer and then called the store the 1st person hung up on me. The 2 nd person claimed to be the manager. In addition to being rude, he tried to feed me some nonsense about the driver attempting to deliver the food. He claimed that the driver called and couldn't get an answer. I had no missed calls, no texts, no knocks on the door, no one range my door bell, and no one approached my house. So after waiting for an hour and a half, the manager offered to have the driver delivered the food again. I am not interested in cold food. I will just ta kg e my business elsewhere...
