We were just out and decide to finally go look at furniture. It has been 15 yrs since we purchased furniture, which was from Lazy Boy. We were greeted by Mrs. Pat Robinson right away. I showed her a pic of our chair and even the model #. She took the time to look it up because we had mention how much we loved our rocking, reclining loveseat with a console. As she was looking the info up my Husband found one set that reclined and rocked. Ours didn’t have the high back of the console. But we couldn’t find one that didn’t have that. Mrs. Pat explain to us all the details of the loveseat my husband was looking at. She smiled, laughed with us and really made it personal so to speak. I had no intentions on buying anything without thinking it over. She said “ make sure you love it “ I had no idea that my husband wanted to buy a sofa as well. We found a sofa that we really liked from another set. Mrs. Pat again gave us all the details and answered all our question. We ended up buying a sofa from 1 set and the chairs from another so we had to customize or fabric on the chairs to match the sofa. Wasn’t thrilled with the price to do that. Mrs. Pat went over everything with us as we filled out the paperwork. She went over every payment option/ finance option available. She explained all of protection and warranties. She was so detail which is great. We really were impressed because she was so great. She was pleasant. Personable to say the least. We have been in the retail/ customer service for over 30 yrs and it was nice to find such a great person who still cared about the customer satisfaction. To be honest the service and kindness that Mrs. Pat showed us is what made me 100% sure that I wanted to purchase the set then and there. You are very lucky to have such a kind caring person representing Lazy Boy like Mrs. Pat Robinson. I hope that the delivery of our furniture in 6 weeks...
Read moreLoved the NO HIGH PRESSURE sales atmosphere. I hate being "accosted" and "stalked" through a store by associates. Angela introduced herself and asked how shoe could help us but really it was all about how we felt sitting in each particular chair - there wasn't really a rhyme or reason to which chairs we preferred so we just had to try them all out. Angela gave us the space to do this and we felt comfortable taking our time finding what we really liked. When we were closer to a decision Angela was helping another customer and Christine came over to see if we needed any more information. We made our selection and Christine helped us complete the purchase. Both ladies were very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Christine sat down and joked with us as I "browbeat" my husband into getting the matching set of chairs that I preferred. When he wasn't being decisive enough for me I warned Christine that there was about to be a fight in her store (completely joking) and she deadpanned with "just don't mess up the furniture." HA! That had me laughing for sure. It was a really pleasant experience start-to-finish. The store was clean and uncluttered with aisleways that were easy to navigate and furniture groupings that were pleasant to view (instead of just rows upon rows of furniture). They offered lots of different recliners to try out for which I am grateful. My last couch was purchased on the internet and I didn't want to do that again because when it arrived I found it really uncomfortable. It was great to be able to try out a multitude of recliner options. We went on Black Friday and the store was adequately staffed for the number of customers present - we didn't have any wait time to be helped. Also we got a FANTASTIC deal on the chairs we bought. Read moreI don't know where to start. We ordered our furniture now going on 16 weeks ago. I understand we are in a pandemic so I have tried to be patient. We were initially told it would be 12 weeks for delivery which would have put us about a week before thanksgiving. We were hoping for delivery by then but we were not holding our breath. My wife called the week before to see if we would receive delivery before thanksgiving and we were told we would receive our furniture on the 30th of November. We were disappointed but we remained patient. We then received a call from la z boy on the 20 th of November telling us that the fabric we had picked out in August was out of stock and we we have to choose another fabric. We asked why weren't we called earlier, of course no one could answer that question. My wife went to the store and picked out another fabric. No one apologized for the mistake that they made. It is now 12/08 and we still have not received our furniture. My wife called the store again today and she was told that one sofa was in but the sectional was not and would not be in until sometime in March. We were told in order to receive delivery of the sofa we had to pay our entire balance in full even though they could not give us an exact delivery date of the sectional. The sales agent, the sales manager and the store manager were all happy when we placed the order but no one has been helpful since. We were planning to order a couple of other pieces from them but will be looking elsewhere. I rarely take the time to write a review this long but if I can help somebody avoid this mistake if would be worth the time spent.
