Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Maryland

I wasnt gonna put up a review the first time i came but this my second experience and im pissed…. Why is the italian ice melted?? The first time i came it wasn’t ready but the girl right after she went and got after a few minutes and it was very loose like a snowball… this time around i come back and its the same… the top was like a snowball abd it was so messy i had to wipe the cup off before getting in the car after the girl kept wiping it first because it was so watery when she put the ice cream on top it started overflowing. Then i had to go back for more napkins because it kept overflowing and i asked one of the girls if its always like that and she said it’s because its a hot day…. Idk thats why i never asked for another gelati i still just ate it but the middle was all juice to the point it mixed with the ice cream on...

This is for sure the slowest Rita’s in Baltimore, Howard and Anne Arundel counties. Today was my third visit in 2019 with the same horrible service. I will not be going back as I could drive to another location for the amount of time spent in line. What makes it even more frustrating is that there are always 3 employees that you can see there but only one window open and only one person serving. It literally took seven minutes to serve two medium Italian ice cups. Additionally, you are rarely spoken to when it’s your turn and never given friendly service. I don't go to Rita's too often, so when I seemed unsure of what to get a couple days ago, the worker there humored me. He was super friendly when he suggested I get a pina coloda misto shake with vanilla custard. Might I add it was incredibly hot that day, I was fresh off the clock, but the shake was absolutely delicious, exactly what I needed! The two men on shift were truly, very kind to me, and because I didn't have any cash on me to tip, the man whom I presumed to be the owner asked if I could leave a review, instead.
