I recently visited Sardi's Pollo A La Brasa in Capitol Heights, MD, and I must say, their rotisserie chicken is exceptional. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, boasting a crispy skin outside and tender, juicy meat inside. It's no wonder the restaurant has garnered an impressive **4.5-star rating** from numerous satisfied customers. The portions are generous, ensuring you get great value for your money. And it's not just the chicken that's delicious – the plantains and the green sauce complement the meal wonderfully, adding to the overall flavor profile. While some diners have mentioned the service can be a bit slow during peak hours, and a few have noted the dishes can be a tad salty, these minor points don't detract from the overall high-quality dining experience. Sardi's is open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, which is convenient for both lunch and dinner plans. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, this spot has you covered. Just remember to consider the salt content if you're watching your sodium intake, and maybe plan around the busy times if you're in a rush. Overall, Sardi's Pollo A La Brasa is a must-visit for anyone craving flavorful Peruvian cuisine in Capitol Heights.

The food at Sardi’s is consistently great, which makes this situation all the more disappointing. I placed an order totaling around $80, plus an $8 delivery fee. When the food arrived, a churrasco chicken plate was missing. My coworker and I tried calling the restaurant multiple times, and someone finally answered on the 7th attempt. The woman who picked up was extremely rude and dismissive. While I calmly explained the issue, she cut me off with, “I don’t know what to tell you, mama,” rather than offering any kind of helpful resolution. Eventually, she checked on the issue, and someone named Luis came on the line and claimed he packed the missing item, but said he would remake it and to come by in 10 minutes. When I arrived at the restaurant, I gave my order info, and Luis then told me it would be another 15–20 minutes. At that point, I had only 17 minutes left on my lunch break. I also contacted the delivery service, and they confirmed the driver gave me all the bags that the restaurant had handed off to him. So clearly the issue was on the restaurant’s end. This was a frustrating and unprofessional experience, and unfortunately, I won’t be ordering from this location again.

I'm in town for work and this place is literally within 400 ft of the hotel. My coworkers and I walked in 40 minutes before closing and the place was still busy. I ordered the half chicken plate that come with two sides. I chose fried plantains and Peruvian fried rice. Wow! Plenty of food in the order. The chicken was rotisseried to perfection, every piece from the breast to thigh was succulent and savory. The staff was orderly, efficient and friendly despite being near the end of their shift. (I know the feeling) Would definitely recommend trying this spot if you're in the area, even though they have several restaurants around the area. Is it "the best chicken in Maryland"? I don't know, but it's definitely delicious chicken.

On 3/12 around 8:30pm, I went to the cashier as I have always been told when ordering something besides chicken. The line was long and I waited patiently for my turn. The cashier was cashing out orders. When it was my time to order which were lamb chops and I told her my order, she abruptly left the cashier without saying a word. I asked her “ what is wrong”. She was the only person cashing out. The young lady said nothing. The guy that stood next to her proceeded to take my order. After taking my order, I told her that she was very rude and she was laughing. I immediately told her, it was not funny and it was very unprofessional. As I waited for my order, the manager who happened to be right there when this all took place ask her loud enough for me to hear., “what happen”. I heard her explanation which lack many facts. I approached and said “if you are going to tell it, tell it correctly”. The girl started screaming “that’s not my job” several times really loud. The manager steps in and tell her not to say anything else. I told her all I know is you were at the register and abruptly walked away and I told her “I don’t know your job”. The manager had the nerve to tell me “Miss, it over, can you be quiet” and then she started going back an forth with me. The main issue is, the manager allowed this behavior and never once apologized for her employees behavior towards a paying customer. I have never been treated in such a manner that an employee of a well-known establishment along with the manager who behaved in this manner. After a while, the whole team came out and witnessed this shameful disrespectful fiasco on display. After all the commotion, I kindly ask for a refund and the manager said “Gladly”. I will never patronize this location and will continue to go to Bowie as I have always been. I love that location. They are exceptional and professional all the time. The manager at this location was no better in this situation but the kicker was, the employee laughed who abruptly left when I placed my order and thought what she did was funny and there was no...

I am reading reviews below about the friendly staff at this location and I would like to experience the friendliness. I'm not a rude customer so my review is genuine. I frequently visit this location, the food went from great to okay. I come in the evening but there is no excuse for poor service. There are one or two staff that is nice, but I have experienced rude and crazy behavior from most of them. Starting off when I order my chicken the guy that cuts it, stares you down like he will cut you if you have any special request, "like a well done chicken". The food is already dead so slamming and slapping it around spoils my appetite. The chicken did not look well done on the bottom, a little dark on the top. it was a little bloody in the center by the bone. I ordered the half chicken. I did not bother to take it back just because I can't deal with the staff and their attitudes. I'm a black female, so no prejudice in my description of the only brown skin female that acts like I stole her boyfriend when I order. Why is she always so extra rude. i swear when I was there she just kept staring at me as usual. Can you please teach your staff that some people don't fight after a hard day of work. They just want food. I can't even make my order and pay with out a major attitude. I can't even reach for an extra fork without you her yelling rudely and speaking to me like i am retarded, "Its in the bag" " I said it's in the bag". Evidently the little kids I am feeding a portion of this bloody chicken need plastic ware!!! I paid for that fork miss, please send your employees to charm school. I will go an extra five miles to the Pennsylvania Avenue location in MD to be treated well. It's ashame how you spend your money but receive childish, unprofessional services. I came to eat, not fight or feel offended. I don't make a habit of leaving good or bad reviews, but face the facts, the customer service makes the food good when a meal can be bad. In this case my bad food...

My other experiences were here were wonderful So I bought my girlfriends back because I talked on it so much.

We were looking for that fun guy Gary but we did not see him . He is great guy and We've seen him run the front area Practically alone from getting people's orders and he gets it right chopping the chicken, and sides and moving the long lines and keeping folks Entertained and happy. He's definitely an employee or manager to keep !. The others employees should take a lesson from his great customer service. If I had a restaurant business I would surely take him from Saudi's because he is Exactly what every good company needs .

Now to the food and service . My experience before and the food was fantastic but this time the service was so slow the chicken was not as good as before. There was not a lot of workers at the front counter area The ones that I saw it seemed that they were occupied on their phone, or with each other but I not making eye contact with the customers. and not friendly. This made outragiously long lines and people were getting very frustrated. And just no friendly happy faces it makes you not wanna come back . Especially if you're on your lunch break and have limited time.

My friend got the ceasar salad some of the lettuce was wilted. I got the worst chicken I've ever had at this place and a few other people were saying the same thing.

I know good employees that make this place fantastic can't work 7 days a week 24 hours A-day but improvements need to be made !

My friends and I will try back again Hopefully My friends will be able to experience the same service and food I did and experience with the very pleasant guy Gary. And by the way one of my friends writes reviews for...
