Starbucks — Restaurant in Maryland

I had a really disappointing experience at this location on October 25, 2025, around 2:10 PM. I ordered an Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso before heading to an appointment nearby. I took a sip in my car and immediately noticed the drink tasted off, like it was missing espresso.

I couldn’t go back right away because of my appointment, but I returned about 30 minutes later and politely explained the issue. The barista didn’t remake the drink she just added a shot into the same cup. That completely worsened the flavor, and it still didn’t taste right. I thought shaken espressos were supposed to be shaken?

What made it worse was the attitude. She was laughing with a coworker during the interaction, which made me feel like I wasn’t being taken seriously. I don’t like confrontation I just wanted what I paid for. And in this economy, paying $6 for a drink that tastes like oat milk with barely any espresso is ridiculous. A remake should have happened.

I made no modifications to the drink, so the fact that it always tastes different doesn’t even make sense to me. But this time pushed me to write a review because the way it was handled felt careless, disrespectful, and dismissive. I’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for years, but this experience really left a bad impression. I hope store management sees this and addresses it...

This Starbucks is by far one of the worst locations. Employees are always displaying inadequately disrespectful service, and the line is never handled well, leaving you with an extremely long wait time. I cannot emphasize enough about the rude employees staffed at this location. I have been yelled at and spoken to with horrible demeanors and when reported to upper management, absolutely nothing was done because the staff still performed the same. So from that, I can draw the conclusion of overall lack of structure from upper management as well. My drinks have also been made incorrectly on numerous visits because of the ineffective service. Terrible. Opens at a bizarrely late hour. The time that I went, there was a line out the door to get in before it opened, and even then the store opened late. The inside was full of flies, and the employees were curt in a bad way. My order, a take away carafe, wasn't possible because they didn't have any of the supplies needed to hold my coffee. The only thing preventing a 1 star review is that they were kind enough to instead give me multiple single cups at the carafe price, which was a smart workaround.
