Yesterday my friends and I went in here to quickly buy drinks. There were 5 people working, all teenagers and no adult making sure everything was running smoothly. My friends got their drinks after waiting for 20 minutes and one of their drinks were messed up even though it was on the menu, not a secret menu item. We waited 10 more minutes and I still had not gotten my drink even though customers that ordered after me were getting theirs. We were in a rush at this point because we had somewhere to be, so I went up to get a look at how far along they were with my drink. As I went to look I saw the barista pick up my empty cup. They were making the drinks based on how easy they were to make instead of based on who ordered first (and I ordered a tall vanilla bean frappe with caramel, which is pretty simple). I asked if that was the vanilla bean frappe and she said yes, so I asked for a refund because I didn’t have time to keep waiting. She told me if I wanted a refund I would have to wait in line (which was very long), so I left with no drink and no refund. We took it and was very shocked to not see the manager at least give us a reduced fee or even compensate us with a free drink. Sad when you have to get all heated up about a coffee.
