Update May 2025 - Ive legit had to stop going to this location. went a couple times mid 2024 but they must have new management. They did stop adding lemonade but I recently went for SB run on Sunday evening and didn't realize it was raining, so I opted for this location instead one on Baltimore ave. I think she was the only one working, she basically added tea only and didnt mix with additional water at all. I didnt check before leaving window because as previously mentioned it was raining so was trying to get back home. Was not able to drink it because it was too strong and I have a caffeine sensitivity although green tea is low in caffeine. Just waited until the morning to go to my regular location. Live and learn.
For the most part this is a good location, although can be difficult to get in due to congestion during peak times. They share a parking lot with Chic fil A and buffalo wild wings. Just realized they are open until 10, so Istop there after 8:30 some nights when leaving part time so I don't have to go out the next morning since I WFH. On two separate occasions my order was so wrong. I placed mobile order, they added lemonade to my drink, when i got home discovered it was wrong. Called customer service and my money was refunded because the store couldn't find my order to refund otp. Second time ordered at the drive thru, got home no sweetener. Its just 4 ingredients and shake. I’ll just plan better and drive to the Capital location. Traffic and terrible potholes are the worst due to highway construction on that side. Read moreI have been a faithful Starbucks customer for over seven years now. I am a gold member who visits any of the one locations in my area at least once a day. I hate to admit it, but I've put thousands of dollars into Starbucks just for the pleasure and wake- up call of my espresso. With that being said, I have to say, the Vista Gardens location is the only location that seems to mess up my order each & every visit! It didn't start out that way. I used to go there everyday.This was before the new barista's and management came on board. I try to avoid going to this location if I can, but sometimes I just have to because of the direction I'm headed. I always keep my fingers crossed that they'll get my one little grande drink right this time, like all the other Starbucks do, but they always manage to mess up in some kind of way. Either my change will be short, or my drink will be hot instead of iced, or whipped cream on it when I specified no whip, or a whole other drink or pastry completely, etc. They just never fail to screw up my order and waist my precious time. On a good note, the appearance of the store inside and out is very nice and inviting. I used to sit inside and work on assignments for HOURS. And also, outside of that manager, I think his name is Kevin, the staff are usually pleasant. Every time they mess up, they do insist on getting it right, which is part of their job. Read moreI am a frequent customer at Starbucks; I go about 2-3 times a week & have an automatic reload on my account. The Vista Gardens location is about 5 minutes from my home so it should be the most convenient, but I encounter terrible service when I do mobile ordering almost every time I purchase something from this location. On two occasions I have requested refunds because of this. During today's visit, I placed a mobile order around 11:20am & was told it would be ready at 11:34am. I arrived at 11:54am to allow them extra time to complete my order (as they are almost never on time). Upon arrival, not only was my beverage not ready, I was told that the "printer is broken so we couldn't see the order." While I understand that technical difficulties can occur, the issue is that I am not being told about these issues until I am in the store, 20 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready. Additionally, there is an issue with timing at this specific location every time; on another occasion (6/3/2021) I was told that my order could not be completed on time because "the barista didn't know how to make it." In contrast, I have never encountered any timing problems at the Starbucks in Free State Shopping Center even when they have limited availability on items.
