I recently had the misfortune of visiting the Taco Bell located at 406 Constant Friendship Blvd in Abingdon, MD, and it was an absolutely dreadful experience from start to finish. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining there to reconsider and seek out alternative options. Here's a detailed account of the numerous issues I encountered:
Late Opening: Firstly, I arrived at the designated opening time, only to find the doors locked and no staff members in sight. I waited for what felt like an eternity, along with several other frustrated customers, before the doors were finally opened. The lack of punctuality and disregard for customer convenience was completely unacceptable. Rude Behavior: Once inside, I was met with an incredibly unpleasant and unprofessional attitude from the staff. They seemed disinterested in taking orders, displayed a lack of basic customer service skills, and were downright rude when I asked for clarification or made special requests. Their behavior left a sour taste in my mouth before I even had a chance to taste the food. Subpar Product Quality: To make matters worse, the quality of the food I received was abysmal. The items were poorly prepared, clearly rushed, and lacked any semblance of freshness. The meat was dry and overcooked, the vegetables were wilted, and the overall taste was extremely disappointing. It was evident that little care or attention was given to the preparation of the food, which is completely unacceptable for any establishment, let alone a fast-food chain like Taco Bell. Inadequate Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the restaurant was another major concern. The dining area was unkempt, with dirty tables and floors. I even noticed a lingering smell that was quite off-putting. It was evident that the staff had neglected their responsibilities in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for customers. In summary, my visit to the Taco Bell at 406 Constant Friendship Blvd, Abingdon, MD 21009, was a complete disaster. From the late opening and rude behavior of the staff to the subpar food quality and lack of cleanliness, this location failed to meet even the most basic expectations. I strongly discourage anyone from wasting their time and money at this particular Taco Bell. I went through the drive-thru at 7:48 pm. I ordered 1 Nacho DLT, 1 Large Nacho Fry, and 1 Chicken Leg
I called into the store at 8:18 pm to see why it was taking them 35 min for 3 simple food items, of course NO ANSWER!
I walked in with my receipt at now at 8:27 pm. No one was at the front register. Meanwhile, about 6 folks were waiting in line to order and mentioned that no one has even taken their orders! A few others said they had been waiting 30 min or longer and asked for refunds and was told no!
I said, "Excuse me multiple times to see why it's now been 40 min and no food!" I was ignored for approximately 5 minutes! When a female came over I showed her my receipt and my bag was thrown across the counter the taco was broken completely the Nacho Fries were very cold and had no dipping cheese and the drumstick literally was the size of a small wing-ding and was completely burnt/old! I immediately asked for a replacement or a refund.
Amanda Hines told me she isn't refunding me nore replacing my food! I said well you will have to choose one because I'm not accepting this cold /old food!"
Amanda Hines then proceeds to curse / scream at me to get out of her store, etc... She was so disgusting with her words / threats that everyone that was inside and a few outside literally left after hearing what she said!
I will be disputing this with my bank for an immediate refund, and I will also be reaching out to corporate along with the BBB and the Health Department because the store was disgusting!
DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT 30-60 MIN AND YOUR FOOD WILL NOT BE FRESH !!!!

Read moreAll we ordered was 1 deluxe craving box. It took an hour and 10 minutes total before we finally got our food. They refused a refund and refused to give us a receipt. It wasn’t even busy. There was plenty of staff, one was even sat on his phone laughing at those that were unhappy with their wait and talking bad about those mentioning calling corporate to whoever they were on the phone with. Employees would just walk away from us as we’re talking to them. About 35 minutes into our wait someone else had inquired about their food and we were all told the “drive through was their priority”, however not even their drive through was busy, there were maybe 3 cars in drive through and 3 people inside. 40 minutes in we were given the wrong order, when my fiancé brought it up they just took the food back didn’t say anything. About 55 minutes in my fiancé asked about his order again, and someone had cleared it off the screen without even finishing the order or saying anything. When we finally got our food the employee just tried to hand my fiancé the single wrapped tacos not even in a bag. Absolutely ridiculous waste of a night, and a waste of money. After my fiancé worked a 12 hour work day, all we wanted was a quick dinner but wasted even more time. People were getting their food back burnt, and our food was completely disgusting anyways. There is absolutely no excuse for what happened tonight it was so poorly ran, we were not the only ones screwed over, and there were so many different ways staff could have made amends or at least tried to deescalated the irritated customers.
