Ordered an Annapolis burrito and taco salad here. I ordered the taco salad because that’s what I figured that delicious looking tortilla bowl was on their business page, and I called (twice, they didn’t answer the first) and they confirmed that on the phone. I placed an online order 45 minutes before arriving, and arrived 10 minutes after it should have been ready. When I approached the counter they said “closed” (it was 8:30 they are open until 10) and then I said I had an online order and they replied “not here” and argued with me over it. I showed them the receipt and they made a long phone call and then said it’ll be 15 minutes. I waited, got my food, no apology.
The burrito was quite good, but the salad had no fried tortilla shell like they said! That’s was the ENTIRE reason I went there and they literally confirmed it on the phone. I would not have ordered that or from here if they said no…and in addition to getting my food 30 minutes late, this was frustrating to say the least.
The Annapolis burrito was very good, but I can’t excuse everything else. I would not recommend this place particularly if you’re not fluent in Spanish, the workers do not know much English. This would be a 4 or 5 if it wasn’t for the...
Read moreThis place is a small Mexican lunch counter located inside an ExxonMobil gas station. They have a large menu posted above the kitchen and about six small tables. It's not much to look at, but the food is spectacular. It's all cooked fresh to order and very authentic. Prices are also excellent for the quality. Tacos are about $3 each and burritos around $9-10 depending on what you get. Awesome house salsas. You can buy whatever drinks you want from the gas station/convenience store side and bring them over. No alcohol is available. The guy who took our order seemed to also be the cook, and likely only employee so if things are busy expect a 10-20 minute wait for your food. Be aware, our guy didn't speak...
Read moreThis review is from a native Mexican. These tacos, by far, are the freaking best. The Cueritos (pork) tacos are my favorite. Everything so far I've tried in this place is really really good. It reminds me of street food in Mexico City. If you are a bougie individual that complains about everything ie parking, utensils, paint job, gloves etc.. stay away. If you LOVE real authentic Mexican food from a hole in the wall you will absolutely LOVE it. Thank me later!!! There aren't any managers here, so Karen you can't ask for one. I freaking love this place. Let's keep it going. Btw we tried the pozole today (green and red ) and...
