āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Vida Taco in Severna Park will always be one of our go-to spots — and for good reason! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is fun, welcoming, and perfect for a cozy date night. Their drinks are always on point, their appetizers never miss, and the tacos… absolutely incredible every single time. Whether we’re craving something flavorful, fresh, or just want a guaranteed great meal, Vida never lets us down. If you’re looking for a spot that consistently delivers amazing food and a great atmosphere, this is it. Highly recommend! šŸŒ®šŸ’› #marylandfoodie #dmvfoodie #maryland #foodtok #foodreview

My friend and I stumbled on this place last night. With the looks of the open floor plan, huge patio windows, and string lights it was very inviting. I really loved how you can sit inside and still kinda be outside. The night was beautiful with a nice breeze and it just so happen to be trivia night (Wednesday). There was also a bar inside where you can either choose the indoor side or patio outdoor side kinda like the Bahama Breeze bars. I really love that. Per the Specials menu, seemed like that had decent specials throughout the week. I believe the night I was there Wed. was $30 margarita pitcher night. Unfortunately I didn’t drink, I only had water. About that… waiter brought us water in a glass but it was warm and had no ice nor a straw. Just know if you are a water drinker like me, make sure to ask for ice in it. When I asked, he just brought out a cup with of ice and I had to pour it in glass myself. I ordered a chicken taco and a carne asada taco. I wouldn’t say they were the best tacos. They were just okay and the cheese on the chicken one kinda smelled funny. Also my chicken taco was overfilled with shredded chicken which was nice but the steak was kinda skimpy and only had 2 pieces of steak. I enjoyed the steak taco more btw. My friend had the fried guacamole taco and mushroom lentil taco since she’s vegetarian. She said they both were delicious. It was nice to see they had the vegetarian options as most taco spots don’t. We also got the trio chips that came with salsa, guacamole, and quest. The quest was nasty, guac was good and salsa was okay but tomatoes were too chunky. The portions were a bit small for the price as well. Chips Came in a small bucket and dips in really small metal shot glasses. See pic. The service was okay, nothing to brag about. Could’ve been a little more friendlier and patient however his handsomeness made up for it kinda lol. I don’t think I’d go back for food, but I’d like to go back for drinks and hang out at the patio bar. I really hope their drinks are good. I will do another review on their drinks next time I go. Stay tuned…

We've gone to the other vida taco bar location near harbor east mostly because it's closer to home. However this one even though it's a 40 min drive from our home was soooo much better. My fiance and i were greeted by very friendly staff and we were seated promptly next to a window. We had delicious fresh tortilla chips and some of the freshest guacamole we've ever had. We stared at the menu getting hungrier by the second thinking of the taco dilemma we faced but three words caught our attention immediately Baby Octopus Tacos šŸŒ®šŸ™šŸ¤Æ We ordered one each she ordered herself the grilled scallop taco and the taco al pastor. I ordered the pork belly (a must try if you enjoy hot peppers šŸ”„) and tacos al pastor as well. The octopus tacos arrived along with our others, they made chili with the octopus as well to go on the taco... Absolutely delicious! One of the best things either of us ever had and we sat in silence contemplating this strange combo of octopus chili and a taco as we ate the others we were already planning our dessert lol churro doughnuts came out hot and with two dipping sauces (caramel and chocolate hazelnut) caramel was great chocolate was good too but not as much. We've been back one other time a month later and the food and staff was just as great so clearly our experience wasn't a one shot thing 😊 we'll be back again and you should go too.

We had a terrible experience. The service extremely slow, not very friendly, our orders were a mess, and the food was a mess, and the food was just not good. For the price you’re paying, it should actually look appetizing.

There were six of us and it took forever to order. A lot of the staff were congregating around one area. It was almost like we were inconveniencing them. When we did order, we individually ordered about three or four different types of tacos each. 18 or 19 tacos eventually came out piled on two small platters.

We had never had this happen before. Every time each any of us had been there, you received your own individual plate with your tacos on it. We asked our waiter why everything came out piled up on trays and were told ā€œthat’s just the way we do itā€.

There was no real rhyme or reason to the order in which the tacos were piled on these platters. The sauces were everywhere. The tacos were spilling onto each other. I’m a vegetarian and I had meat and grease from other tacos on my tacos.

It literally took 10 to 15 minutes of going back and forth trying figure out which taco was which and who it belonged to. We had to call the waiter over a few times and ask him what the tacos were because they were all covered in different sauces and toppings from being next to the other tacos and jumbled together. We we were missing tacos as well. It was sloppy and a mess. It would be one thing if they were really good, but they weren’t. They were covered in a ton of sauce and toppings with very little on the inside. They just didn’t taste that good. Definitely don’t get the...

We really enjoy Vida. The most recent time we went with a group of 13 (6 adults & 7 kids) on a Friday. They were able to accommodate us. Our server, Alisa was amazing. We did have to wait a little for a few meals and drink refills, but we were told that they just were not prepared for a busy Friday evening. I appreciated the explanation, but found it odd, because they are always busy and Fridays are a popular night to go out.

My only mention/complaint was the manager that night. He seems like a nice guy, but our table felt he should have come over to explain a situation, instead of putting our server in that position. The adults (all coaches) had each received a gift card to Vida as a gift. When we received the checks, we handed over the gift cards and credit cards. Alisa ran them and the first gift card rang up for $225. She came over to ask if that was correct. The person who picked them up, said no each was supposed to have $50. She checked her account, which luckily was not charged incorrectly, while Alisa went over to check to see if the other gift cards had money on them. They did. Alisa went back to talk to the manager because when they gave these gift cards Vida messed up. Our server came back and was like $50, sorry about that. We paid for our meal, but were still wondering how the gift card went from $225 to $50. I mean their drawer was off by a lot the day they sold those gift cards.

The food is always good and so are the...
