I have been to this location before and had a good experience, but this second time around was underwhelming and I will not be returning.
I arrived on time for my appointment only to be told I had to complete the intake form even though I had been to this location before. Eventually, the front desk said I could complete it after my massage but my appointment was now already starting late.
The person doing the massage did not know what treatments I had signed up for. When I mentioned I had paid for the hot stone add on, they were surprised and clearly didn’t know what I was there for. They also asked about trouble spots (I mentioned my neck had been tight), if I wanted the bolster for under my knees/ankles (I said yes), and any other information - I said I was primarily there to relax, asked for medium pressure, and to just please not massage the bottoms of my feet (ticklish).
The person doing the massage spent almost zero time on my neck, never put the bolster onto the table, immediately tried to massage my feet (were they messing with me?) and kept trying to start conversation during the service. The hot stones really felt like an afterthought. They were not focused on any pressure points or sore spots, and just kind of rubbed on my back at random. At one point about halfway through, the employee stopped the massage and asked if I had any questions….what?
The music kept cutting in and out leaving long periods of silence when I could hear a great deal of noise from the front desk area. All in all, this was not relaxing, did not address any of my requests, and was 1000% not worth the $150 price tag. I will not be...
Read moreI visited this place for the first time last week. I was underwhelmed. The massage therapist was rude. Informed her that I had a child at home with my husband and that he could potentially call me if something was to go wrong. She stated that “I don’t need to worry about that” and that my child needs to “ learn that mommy won’t always be there”. What she did not know is that my child has health complications so an emergency is not unlikely. I cannot just ignore my phone. My husband was the one who booked the massage for me to allow me to getaway and take a break so he wouldn’t call for just anything. I did not come there for her judgement or her advice and for to tell me to relax and what not to worry about. She also talked almost the entire time when I came for peace and quiet and cut my service short. I’m pretty sure he booked a 60 min massage which I only got maybe 40 mins of. Also, the massage was barely a massage. She used very light touch. It didn’t feel like she was doing anything. All that to say… I likely will not be returning. I gave two stars because the place seemed fairly clean and that is...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. Unfortunately, this was by so far the worst massage I have ever received. This coming from someone who has gotten a good 400 massages in her lifetime. My husband and I went in for a massage on Memorial Day and the woman I had was terrible. I can’t remember her name but she was an African American woman. First of all our massage was only about 40 min. not an hour like we paid for. Second, I said I wanted a full body massage and she spent about 30 seconds on everything but my back. While she was “massaging” my back she only used her forearm to press down and stayed in one place for what felt like 30 min. It felt like she was leaning all her weight in one spot trying to avoid doing any work. Lastly, the entire time all I could hear was sniffles so it was a little disgusting. I got the impression she was wiping her nose with the other hand she wasn’t using. I really wish she would have just stepped away to blow her nose and then just wash her hands. I can’t say that I would ever come back. On the other hand, my husband did enjoy his massage from John. Sounds like he’s...
