Thrilled to have a new ramen place near home! After driving around the parking lot to find their location, walked up to find a nice large (definitely cavernous, almost echoing) sparsely decorated restaurant. Place was clean and new and nice, very quiet and well spaced out wood tables. Food was ready and EXPERTLY packaged with all the plasticware/straws/chopsticks available. We did takeout and the packaging was perfect (actually some of the nicest takeout containers we've seen), food was hot on pickup, and we got right home to try it out. So, I knew the prices before we went, but this is definitely on the high end of "fast food" (in the sense it is fast, not obnoxiously fancy, but IS made to order) as one bowl of ramen and one large boba tea ran up a quick $22 bill each. That said, the ramen was beautiful and delicious with nice big pieces of protein, vegetables, egg, lots of noodles, and (for our Spicy Tonkotsu choice) a thick savory spicy meaty broth (nicely packaged separately for pour over at home). One of the better ramens I have eaten to be honest. The tea was big with nice chunks of fruit and tapioca and very refreshing. Would I go here all the time at these prices? No, but if I want to treat myself to a higher quality, made-to-order ramen meal, yeah, we will be back from time to time. Friends got Poke bowls and raved of theirs also. Good job Taichi!

I'm writing this review in the restaurant's parking lot because I didn't want to forget to do it... I LOVE Taichi! It is my favorite place to eat. Every time I come into the store, the people are so nice and kind! The Tonkotsu ramen is superb!!! I tried the new ramen place that opened up in Pasadena (Kanji Noodle Bar), and while it wasn't awful, it was nowhere near as good as Taichi! Truly. They are the best! The woman with black hair that took my order today was so sweet (I forgot to ask her name)! Please, even if you have to drive a bit farther to get here, it is WORTH IT! I've had the ramen, poke bowl, sushi burrito, and bubble tea. All delicious and made with fresh fish and ingredients! She told me that they simmer the Tonkotsu broth for 10 hours, and it really shows when you taste it! I'm moving soon, and I can honestly say that I will miss Taichi so, so much! 🩷🌸 I'll have to buy a plushie before I go!

So after like 2 hours of trying to figure out what I wanted, I came across Taichi in Severna Park. I wanted to try them a while ago and forgot, so I gave it a whirl. I got the Hawaiian bomb rice bowl, Mango infruitea, and a honeydew smoothie. Honeydew smoothies are my favorite so I'll definitely be back just because I love them. The tea is good but it sorta has a chai taste to it and it's supposed to be green tea but it's still good. I'll try a different flavor next time. And the bowl is very good also. This particular one has a kick to it and i also added japanese mayo and it's delicious. $30 is a lot to me for me to just go pickup something to eat but it's really not for what I got, and they are really big servings. Oh and the service was great and they were very fast as well. Definitely recommend!

Fun little place! It's super cute and they have games to play. Ramen was alright. Recommend the spicy tonkotsu. Pork belly was cooked well. Eggs were amazing. My brown sugar bubble tea was good. Boba was the right texture/ taste. His black milk tea was bland, unfortunately.

Disappointed at the lack of sauces and flavorings for the ramen. I'm used to having a selection of chili, rice vinegar, Sriracha, soy sauce, etc. on the table or counter.

It's kinda funny what they call a poke bowl there. They have one with grilled chicken and lettuce. I'm pretty sure that's just a salad. Lol Can't comment on taste, though. It might be good, just not traditional poke.

Bottom line: if you're used to really good ramen and poke, don't expect this place to be that. If you want a decent boba drink, this is the best I've had in the area so far. I think it would be a good place to meet up with friends...
