Wingstop — Restaurant in Maryland

I placed an order for pickup with Uber Eats. Upon arrival, I showed the person in the front (stocky hispanic male with long hair) my order screen. He said the order is ready but I need to press that I received it on Uber Eats in order for him to hand it to me because a lot of people use uber eats to scam. Are people genuinely scamming this business or are they requesting refunds because of how bad it is? I trust uber way more than I trust point of sale payment at a place like this that can have card skimmers. I arrived before the expected cooking time so I knew the food was not ready and more so I did not appreciate that he implied I am a scammer. He should have worded it better. I asked this guy to show me the order first. He then stumbled and went to the order shelf where it was not ready. They didn't even start preparing it. He lied about the food being ready and wanted me to say that I recieved it in Uber before the food was even prepared. I had to wait an additional 10 mins before the food was ready. There was no apology or anything. I observed the customer service that others recieved from this guy and he was completely rude and aloof. The manager (hindu male) was also careless and kept repeating the same thing over and over. I am amazed that they suggested that I am a scammer when they wanted me to tell Uber I received my food not even maybe a little before it was handed to me but literally BEFORE IT WAS PREPARED. That is the true scam.

The food itself was soggy and way too salty. Almost inedible if it weren't for the ranch dressing. The location is also pretty dirty with no visible trash cans. It is clearly run by someone who only cares about their bottom line and not about the quality of food or customer service. These types of owners do not last in the food business.

I will never return to this location and would not recommend this place to anyone. It is not competitive at all with the numerous wing places nearby and it makes...

Fries ** Regular seasoned fries (Maybe a sweet taste is slightly too noticeable in the fries but really good overall)

Reason for 2-star service: P.s. I did not appreciate being gas-lit told me the combo was cheaper than just the wings not true. It's $2.90 cheaper.

I wouldn’t advise anyone go here for lunch. It took over 20 minutes for the crew to prepare 2 8pc meals- and they got the sides wrong! I sat there while the crew asked five times for my order name and then stood there! When I complained to the manager, he informed me it takes 18 minutes to cook an order instead of apologizing and addressing the staff!
