Zorba's Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Maryland

My husband & I were looking for a place to order from one night since we'd been redoing our kitchen ourselves and were tired. I saw Zorba's & realized we could have lamb gyros delivered and our eyes went wide! That was it for us and we ordered from GrubHub with fingers crossed.

Well lemme tell you, it was EVERYTHING. You know how when food is so good you just close your eyes and do a happy dance but you don't realize you're doing it? Yeah...that good. We've been hooked ever since and ordered several times. Last night we actually went there for the first time to sit and eat. We knew we could get something else from their fairly vast menu, but we just LOVE LAMB GYROS and theirs are AMAZING. It just hits that spot. And it's LARGE, so it'll fill you. Really good portions at this place.

We even ordered the gyro pizza once and it was good, I only wish it had tzatziki.

If you haven't had a gyro, get the lamb one as is, you'll love it. If you wanna make changes to it---don't--that's just sacrilege! Get a damn cheesesteak and leave that wonderful gyro for someone who will appreciate it on their taste buds all the way down to their stomachs

I order from Zorbas alot! They are the best restaurant around. There food is absolutely worth the money. Although they are not real expensive I think that they are very accurate on their prices, I have never had an issue with any service that they have provided, until today I ordered a crab cake with tarter sauce and other things but my crab cake had no tarter sauce on the crab cake or on the side. Not to mention that I was charged a dollar for the sauce. I went ahead and called them to inform them the situation and I spoke to a female that was apparently new to her job. After all said and done over the phone I expressed my opinion. I hung up not very happy. In just seconds later I received a call from the owner expressing his apology to me and offered me another crab cake for free. He also told me that I could keep the old one. It's truly unbelievable in today's society, usually these types of business are just out for the money but not Zorbas, they cared more about me being satisfied. I would recommend ordering from Zorbas anytime you want great quality food and great prices and excellent customer service. Thank you Zorbas for your hospitality. I absolutely love you guys. Small, sauceless, burn wings and salty pizza... I will say, the service when I walked in was great and the place looked, smelled, seemed really nice, got everything quickly. BUT, the wings are definitely not tossed in the sauce, it's like they put the wings in the box and they drizzle a spoonful of sauce on them. Also, unfortunately the wings were burnt/ blackened, very small compared to many other places I normally go and I had to pull a handful of little feathers from a few unlike other places. The pizza wasn't exactly bad but just tasted a little over salty for some reason? I used to love the place when they first opened years ago, even they had the like 30 some odd wing flavors but after they changed it was never the same. I decided to go back and try them out again since it had been forever ago I was last there and unfortunately tonight I was disappointed. I will certainly try the cheese steak and another pizza before deciding to completely avoid the place but don't see me every buying wings again sadly.
