Christmas Day. I appreciate that they were even open, but when you know you’re going to be busy, and Christmas Day and thanksgiving day are 2 of the busiest holidays of the year for coffee, I worked and managed coffee stands for many years, you need to be prepared and staffed properly. Especially if you want to be open on said holidays. Just waited in line for 30 minutes and still had 2 cars ahead of me, and the other side was slammed. Cars backed out onto the street of 88th and the side street. Only 2 or 3 girls working. No runners. You need to be staffed properly. You guys should have had a runner for each side to come out to cars, take orders, and let them pay. Most payments can be done electronically these days. You can use iPads and square readers to take payment. Have two runners come out to cars in line, take their orders, have them pay, go inside and make said orders, and either run them out of the car at the window is not done, or have the window person hand them their drinks. That way things go much faster and smoother. Instead of just letting cars back up onto the street and have to wait to get to the window to order and then wait for their drinks. Trust me. It will make your customers happy and your lines will go faster. Everyone wins. I know working on Christmas sucks and there’s probably a lot of girls who won’t want to work, but hire seasonal baristas for that reason. Unfortunately after waiting almost 40 minutes with two cars in front of us still, we had to leave and take our...
Read moreMy coffee is pretty good. That is where the 2 stars come from. The service is terrible though. I drink coffee every day and haven't ever stopped at this location. And I wont be again. A lot of places can make good coffee, so you better get service right. There was a car in line on the same side that had already ordered. We waited 10 minutes to get to window. They got 2 drinks and one was a iced red bull or something (basically...not a lot of time involved to make). While waiting a girl was vaping and walking up to the window. I assumed she was a walk up. Nope! She opened the door. Blew out the rest of her vape smoke, and entered. The next thing I knew she was handing over the drinks through the window. Really unprofessional in a food service atmosphere. The 3 girls inside, once we ordered were more interested in talking about 'how mad someone was', then getting out the drinks. I'm not here to hear your gossip. Talk all you want once we've left. And if you drop a component of the coffee maker in the garbage when dumping grinds, dont grab it and use it again. Wash it. Vape away from the stand (be aware of customers). Wash your hands after you vape (be aware of germs) Dont talk smack like I've interrupted girl social hour (be aware you're working) Move like youve got 5 cars waiting (be aware your personal conversations can wait) Wash things you drop in the garbage (be aware of food service etiquette) Good coffee will only get you so...
Read moreTo the owners of Big Foot, I'm making this review as a concerned customer regarding a serious issue that needs immediate attention: the bee infestation at your location. I'm allergic to bees, and having them flying around my car and even inside it while ordering a drink is not only uncomfortable, but potentially dangerous. Today, I witnessed a bee fly directly into the head of the young woman helping me at the window. She was incredibly kind and professional, but I was honestly shocked to see employees working under those conditions. This isn’t about the occasional bee, there were many bees, flying in and out of the building continuously. It strongly suggests there may be a hive nearby, possibly in the attic or within the structure itself. For the safety of your customers and your hardworking staff, I urge you to bring in a professional to assess and resolve the issue. No one should be put at risk just to grab a drink or to serve one. Creating a safe and welcoming environment benefits...
