Ordered a 2 top, deep dish pizza online.Arrived to pick up 30 mins after I ordered it. I knew we would be lil late picking it up but I knew they could leave it in warmer. Was glad parking lot was empty. In &out quick or so I thought.WRONG. My 18 yr old daughter ran in to get it. She tried over & over to get the attention of 5 or 6 employees who ignored her who were doing things while chatting about their plans over weekend.Finally 1 guy said "I cannot ring u up on cash register". Apparently only Mike Kinney the manager can ring up or take orders yet nobody went to get him. He was not in the area where they prep food. Finally he came after 10-15 minutes. She paid and came out to the still basically empty parking lot. I looked at the pizza to be sure correct. It was correct except HAD ZERO SAUCE. DRY AS BONE. ALSO THE CRUST RATIO WAS ABOUT 75% CRUST TO 25% PIZZA IN CENTER. LOOKED ABOUT THE SIZE OF A VERY SMALL SAUCER OF DRY PIZZA PARKED ON A VERY LARGE PLATFORM OF CRUST. Was this a joke? So I went inside to get manager. I asked the workers who never spoke to Me,could u please get a manager, etc I tried getting help for about 15 minutes finally a man came from a door ( maybe outside door) in back. I started to complain He said let me get manager. He gets Mike the manager who never apologizes, by now I am furious at the ridiculous amount of time to get my pizza, return my pizza, etc this has taking and want my money back. He said he could give me a store credit which I told him after this experience of terrible quality and terrible customer service I WILL NEVER EVER COME HERE AGAIN! So talks me into letting him make my pizza. He did remake correctly. Still no apology to me. I stewed on it awhile then decided to give reviews. To get a large pizza without any sauce, with a tiny amount of cheese and toppings centered about 5" in diameter on a huge crust. To be ignored by half a dozen employees for 15 minutes who never spoke to me, never answered me when I asked, please get the manager. Nothing. Then have this horrible man not even apologize. I cannot believe it. Though I wanted to let I did not yell nor curse at him so no excuse to make the way I was treated better. I found out later that he alone can do cash register, etc so please explain to me where he hid for about 30 Minutes? Was he outside smoking or what, cause nobody wanted to get him, nobody would speak to me, looked at me then looked away. Standing maybe 12 feet from a dozen employees who ignored customers is absolutely not acceptable to me! This pizza Hut was the best some years ago but Mike runs it in the ground. Until or if they ever get in new management I will not return. Plenty of other pizza places with good food and good service. Done with this poor quality and poorer service Pizza Hut! Shame on Pizza Hut. By the way the date was Thursday, May 23, 2019 about 4-5 pm. No excuse for this debacle at All! Mike should be fired along with his poor crew who thinks they are above waiting on customers. And if only Mike can wait on customers, he should park himself at the counter. Horrible...
Read moreHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR THE 3RD TIME!!!!! It is my own fault for ordering pizza from Pizza Hut, period. Domino's, Papa John's....hell...even Little Caesars is better than this garbage. Manager Mike, of the Hannum St., Alcoa, TN location, charged my debit card DOUBLE what my order actually cost. Because I am a single, full-time, father of a 4 year old little girl, I don't live a lavish lifestyle that can afford being charged $70.00 for a large two-topping pizza and double order of breadsticks. This "Manager" just cost me overdraft fees on my bank account, as well as the gas I needed to get through the week. You know..to get to work and my daughter to school? But hey, AFTER CALLING TO COMPLAIN, he fixed his mistake...which he immediately KNEW HE MADE!!!!!!!!! How many other people have been bamboozled out of money by this corrupt "Manager?" Read moreThe last couple of times that I have ordered delivery from this location, it’s been extremely late (well over an hour) and the pizza isn’t fresh. This last time it took 1 hour and 25 mins. The estimated times are 30-40 mins, which never happens. They say it’s due to a lack of drivers but when an order sits for an hour to an hour to 1 hour and 15 mins. before it’s picked up to deliver to your house, of course it’s not going to taste good or be hot and fresh. It’s easy to pin it on lack of drivers. In my opinion, it’s not worth the money or hassle. I would recommend to call in the pizza and pick it up. It’s the only way to get even close to fresh pizza from Pizza Hut anymore. Also, I had to call back to the store that I called in the delivery from to get them to even deliver the pizza. Both times a driver never even “picked up” the pizza to deliver it until after an hour and Until after I called back to check to see where it was. Only then would someone bring it.
