DONT GO HERE IF NOT FROM SURROUNDING AREA So I have been here about a number of times now. I like this place but would not recommend it if you are visiting or don't hold an Ohio ID. Me and my girlfriend moved up here from Arizona for work and I have a lot friends that I fly out here for weekend visits and this place is so close and convenient we tend to get a couple drinks there at some point. EVERY SINGLE TIME I have used my Arizona lisense I get hassled by the staff and just don't seem to get treated the same but we get treated as if we are some kids using a fake id. Sometimes i have to get manager approval. And then the manager is using a way outdated book to verify the ids as mine is the updated Arizona license and then is looking at me like I'm crazy. All of my out of state friends that come through I'm just going to take them up to the show. I have never been treated this way any other place and an establishment has never made my visiting friends feel so uncomfortable.. it's not a bad place but they just can't grasp the concept of an out of state liscense. Just would not recommend for people that aren't locals or not from the area. Go to the...
Read moreVisit during late lunch few times a month, sit at the bar to enjoy some me time after a long work week. Lisa is always very attentive to getting my drinks and food order just the way I like. I notice she knows exactly what the regulars order. The other bar attendees keep mostly to themselves with occasionally I run into a few pairs of men being louder and chatty than they need to be. Not everyone is interested in their laughter, crude stories & foul language. But hey! It IS a bar...luckily this is not a regular thing I’ve run into. Burgers are great! Fries can be a little overcooked but doesn’t stop me from eating them. Tatar tots are nice and crispy. Good amount of food for the price. Liquor choices are many and they have the mixers I like, cranberry & lemonade. Place seems clean and well managed. I will continue to come back as Lisa makes my visit very...
Read moreI have been a BIG fan of James Third Base ever since 2012 when I moved to Mason from Pittsburgh. Being a Steelers fan in the Cincinnati area is not easy. Wearing the black and gold can lead to some interesting conversations.
I always enjoyed the bar/restaurant because it reminded me of the neighborhood places I went in multiple hometown: Amazing food with generous portions, friendly staff and fellow patrons who will talk about anything and treat you like an old friend.
They have great music some nights and other fun activities as well. There's a back room with pool and darts as well as video games and Keno.
I love their wings, their hoagies, and their fried pickles. Burger and pizza are also pretty good too.
If you are in the area visiting friends, family, or for work, head over for pint and something to eat. You'll love their...
