McDonald's — Restaurant in Mathis

The interior needs a good cleaning, and is infested with flies. Food is often overcooked, dried out, or just cold. Myself and others have felt sick after eating here due to the bad quality of the food. The drive through after 10pm routinely becomes a hour or more ordeal, not because of many customers, but because employees would rather fool around and talk with their friends instead of doing their jobs. They will ask you to wait a moment to order, and then will never come back until you have to repeatedly call out to them (sometimes over 10 minutes). They also will leave you at the window for 15-30 minutes at a time before ever coming to take your money, and then you have another long wait for your food to come out. All the while either they are no where to be seen in the kitchen, or are busy chatting near the inside counter. And they never include anything as compensation for the poor service, comp any portion of you meal, or even just flat say "I'm sorry for the wait." More often than not, you get treated to a snotty or annoyed temper, almost like they're mad at you for daring to buy food here at this time and make them do their jobs.

I'm usually a very forgiving, patient, and lenient person, but after getting burned multiple times by this location, I will drive the extra hour to the next McDonald's instead of giving this place anymore business. There is no justifiable reasoning you should be able to watch most of a full length feature movie waiting in the drive thru, when all you want is a dollar menu...

The ABSOLUTE WORST WORST McDonald’s I have ever been too! You order your food in back and then they tell you to pull all the way to the very front to GET your order. We were like, “how will you know it is us?” Well, they write the color of your car on your ticket. Okayyyyyyyy, so we pull around where there’s NO PARKING, so we pull into a spot and they come out eventually and bring us the WRONG order. Thank goodness I checked! As the frustrated person goes back in to get our corrected order, it’s STILL WRONG! So I paid for 4 FULL ORDERS and got 2 burgers with no meals!!! We are on the highway and the RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TERRY, who claims to be the manager and owner won’t give me her last name and hangs up on me THREE times and has a worker answer and hangs up on me ALSO!!! I call back SEVERAL times with NO ANSWER!! Two hours later when TERRY answers, she is the rudest person on earth!!! MOST DISGUSTING ANDy DISRESPECTFUL PLACE ON EARTH!! You got my money along with others who didn’t check their food, I’m sure, but I did and you STILL got it wrong and then were COMPLETELY rude even though YOU got it wrong TWO times!!!!! I WILL call the REAL owner! Hopefully you are relieved of your duties that were apparently too...

We stopped by for a quick bite on our road trip. It was the worst experience I’ve had at a McDonald’s. The employees were rude. They did not acknowledge the guests or attempt to help anyone. I was waiting at the counter for at least ten minutes before someone said they would take my order in a minute and then they didn’t come back so I ended up ordering from the kiosk. An employee repeatedly yelled out table numbers instead of brining it to the table 5 feet away and did not place empty fountain cups on the tray that guests had ordered. They did not make drinks for any of the orders for myself or the other customers. Employees were on their phone texting in the kitchen and talking to each other about non work topics while guests were still waiting for their food. They called my order number which was for a 10 pc nuggets, sauce, one shake and one McFlurry. When they called that it was ready there was only the nuggets in a bag. No drinks. No sauce. It took ten minutes to get the attention of an employee to alert them that I needed my drinks and sauce still. When we finally got the drinks the shake was not blended.
