moved to the Matthew area back in Late November. We don't order pizza often but when we do we don't mind paying the extra few bucks for a great mom & pop type place, something local, not a chain. We are huge fans of Juliana's off Monroe rd in east Charlotte were we lived for 13 years. Excited we found this place and they deliver!!! They delivered a LOT quicker than the time they had given me which is fine. But one pizza was wrong. I called. They questioned me, then you could hear them asking someone if they did it wrong. They said they made it wrong and asked what I wanted to happen.... This is where I get Bothered. I just asked that we get the pizza we ordered and I even apologized ( not sure why) just felt bad they had to make another trip. Again, you could hear a loud voice in the background and I was asked if I would take a credit. Again, we don't order often so just want the pizza we ordered. She ( the voice in the background was not happy) so weird. Family kept telling me they wouldn't want the pizza back when they delivered the new one but I had a weird feeling plus... It wasn't the pizza we ordered so... Would someone eat it with 5 boys in the house, yes! Was it what we ordered, NO and did it have LESS toppings than I paid $1,75 a piece for YES. when the young kid pulled up, I again apologized to him and thanked him. I had the whole wrong pizza in hand and I offered it, knowing they can't serve it to anyone just wanted to know how this company handled these situations. He said... Thank you, the "boss" says he wants his wrong pizza back" ! That's fine. I had it willing and waiting. But unfortunately my family will not be ordering from this place again. Not nice, they never apologized, they made us feel like an inconvenience even though they left toppings off our pizza. I will say it was yummy! Which sucks because I just can't support bad customer service. So bad. So upset. Sorry so long guys but I really was just so disappointed and wanted to lay out...
Read moreThis was a terrible choice for lunch. I’m not even one to make a review but considering how terrible our experience with them was, I do want to warn the community. I would stay far away. I ordered a pizza to my place of employment for the staff here and there was hair baked into 70 percent of the pizza. On top of hair being in the pizza , the delivery took over an hour and the location is 5 minutes down the road. I am only allotted a 30 minute lunch so you can imagine my dismay. I contacted the facility asking for a replacement and something for inconvenience. The woman on the phone was very rude, she would not give me her name when asked. She also stated she would do nothing for my inconvenience and passed me to another employee. The employee apologized and said he would deliver another. The 2nd pizza arrived and once again , hair found in my pizza. I called the facility and the woman answering said she would not give me a refund unless we brought the card up there in person. She also stated that I am just complicated and she feels sorry for whoever has to deal with me. At this point, I was enraged because I paid $50 just to end up with no pizza , no refund and have my character attacked for requesting another. I contacted the federal trade commission , BBB, and...
Read moreThis was our 1st time here. There was no one in the store, which is ok it was 3 on a rainy Saturday. The lady was outside smoking which was fine, but I don't think she washed her hands, so strike 1. She was nice and took our order for drinks. The soda was flat so choose a different one and that was flat too. My kids ordered kids pizzas with cheese and bacon which came on flat bread. It was ok. One kid ate it and the other barely ate a slice. My husband ordered the gyro platter(Not sure why he ordered this at a pizza place but his choice and he was paying). The Greek salad was just iceberg lettuce with onions, 1 tomato, 1 cucumber, feta cheese and dressing. It was sad. The dressing was horrible. Not sure what in it, but it had no taste at all and was separating. The gyro meat was rolled up, which I have never seen for a gyro. It looked like a hot dog cut in half, but dark brown. The pita bread was good. The sauce was ok. It was definitely a mistake to order. And they were coughing the whole time, not good. We will not return. Now maybe their pizza, but from the kids pizza we couldn't tell. I do...
