I drove out to Hāna on September 11, 2025 for work purposes. I decided to go to Orale Tacos because I saw it on an IG influencer that is a foodie.
Met Danny who was taking everyone's orders and was very helpful in explaining what was in the crunch wrap. I ordered a lot of food because driving out to Hāna does require a small sacrifice of not eating or drinking too much because the drive is about 2 hours long with the first restroom within an hour from the journey. So me not eating breakfast made me order a large lunch. 🌸
My lunch did not disappoint. I had the shrimp crunch wrap which is not only a nice sizeable meal, but it packs a lot in. I also ordered the esquites (Mexican corn in a cup), the ube horchata, and churro bites.
The atmosphere was awesome. I got to listen to good music and just enjoyed Hāna. It was raining which did not affect my mood. No rain, no rainbows. In this case, no rain, no waterfalls.

Not only did this place hit the spot, it’s so good, I wished it could home to Maryland with me. I can’t live in Hana because I’d get fat or poor (or both) because I’d eat here all of the time.
I got the veggie burrito with chipotle crema and a coconut limeade, while my wife got a fish taco, street corn, and horchata. I’d eat and drink it all again if I came back (alas, we fly out tomorrow), except I want to try more.
The vibes are immaculate. Picnic tables under tents, a sweetly decorated food truck, Spanish language music playing over the speakers, lights strung overhead, a shelf with board games and signs, and kind staff eager to help.
I heartily recommend this place. Please stop here if you find...
