If you are a person of color, avoid this place. The guy at the window was acting as if we were an inconvenience to him. He was extremely rude and was very short with his responses. We spent 80$ here on our food and he would not give us extra napkins claiming he has already given us 6? He also did not provide any cutlery, I went back to the window to ask for some and he rolled his eyes and gave me one fork, when I asked for 6 (one per person) he just glared at me. Slim pickins for us here at Da Fish Shack food truck in Hana. Around 1pm they were out of Poke bowls and corn tortillas for fish tacos. The food truck cook/server was uninterested in our order, though got it done. The tables are covered, which is great, but they hadn’t been wiped down in a couple of months, it would appear. Food was OK - my fish grill was seeped in the oily sauce, which did taste pretty good, but looked disappointing. My wife’s crispy fish might have been overcooked as the ends of the fish were dry, taste was much better in the fleshy middle. Overall, below average...

Stopped by this food truck while driving along the road to Hana. The other reviews are spot on, the fish is severely overcooked, lacks flavor and is also inaccurate to the actual menu displayed. If you're going to say beer battered fish tacos, then serve beer battered fish tacos. What we ended up receiving was $hitty dry @$$ "grilled" fish. Also, don't display "fresh" lemonade when it's Costco lemonade and guava juice. Not fresh shrimp either, frozen packaged shrimp from Costco.
