Read moreOmg.... so good!!! EVERYTHING is sooooo good!!! The sugar cinnamon malasadas are delicious when they're fresh (still pretty good the next day actually). Their filled malasadas are fantastic. Ube filling was my hands down favorite. I enjoyed them as much or perhaps a little more than the malasadas I got at Ko restaurant in the Fairmont and probably had to pay twice a much at Ko (that being said, Ko has amazing food, well worth the price). I also had the banana bread and banana bread with streusel. My family and I tried banana bread from several different sources (sugar beach bake shop, fairmont room service, halfway to Hana, and others) side-by-side. The streusel banana bread from Sugar Beach Bake Shop was the clear unanimous winner. We also had muffins and loved them. The strawberry muffin was outstanding. While I will be checking out other bakeries on my next trip to Maui, I will definitely be stopping by Sugar Beach Bake Shop to pick up some delicious snacks and desserts. I highly recommend ordering ahead online and picking up early. The line was much longer for me later in the morning. When I went around 7 there was a fairly short line, around 8, I stood in line for...

We had our desserts in the car for a few hours and then shoved it in a fridge for a couple more and it was still AMAZING. The donut was soft and pillowy while the creme was just the right amount of sweetness. I can only imagine how good the hot fresh ones would have tasted.
Coconut Cream Pie - 9/10 I am not the biggest coconut fan BUT this pie tastes straight up like the coconut ferrero rocher. It was seriously good even after sitting out for a while.
Mango Cheesecake - 8/10 I have never had a mango cheesecake before but I do love me some cheesecake. The mango cheesecake was really good but got just a bit too sweet after a while. Since we shared all of the desserts I can only imagine how sweet it would have been if I had the whole pie to myself.
Key Lime Pie - 6/10 I’m not that big of a fan of key lime pie. It’s just too sour for me to enjoy. If you like key lime pie this might be for you, but it’s not for me.
I heard this place is super popular, but we got lucky and there wasn’t a line. Probably because we got in at 2pm and all the hot...
