Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Mauldin

ABSOLUTELY HATE to leave a 1 star review because I've always gotten GREAT pizza & GREAT service from the Mauldin, SC location but the past two times I've had the exact same issue & when I went directly back inside after getting my pizza (within one minute) due to it being made incorrectly. Instead of my Asian pizza having GREEN PEPPERS, they've put jalapeños not once but twice now. Both employees claiming I was wrong & there were only green peppers. I tasted 2 peppers & both were jalapeños & since they wouldn't remake my pizza I came home & tried another & had my friend try one as well - JALAPEÑOS - UGH! Yes, I removed them all & ate it anyhow, but I still paid for a topping I didn't even get :-( Called the "customer service line" but was only told she could do nothing since all locations are independently owned but made a notation....

Gonna brag on this pizza for a minute. I honestly thought the name and colors were off putting at first and didn't think I'd really want to try their pizza at all. But I'm so glad I did. The pizza is perhaps the most delicious pizza of all pizzas. I have been back at least 7 times and each time is as good as the last. My only complaint is I tried to order in person and ordered what was one of their deals. But I didn't tell them it was a deal and when I asked why the price was so high, he just said "that's the price." I said the deal online said it was cheaper. He replied, "since you mentioned the deal, here's the new price." I asked why he didn't just do that at the beginning and he said it was policy. Somehow I doubt that. But the pizza is still...

I ordered a pepperoni pizza through Grub Hub to be delivered to my hotel. After waiting almost two hours I finally called Grub Hub about my order. I fell asleep waiting or I would have called sooner. Apparently, after waiting in the phone with Grub Hub, they informed me that Hungry Howie’s never received my order. I had to leave and go visit a friend but still wanted the pizza. When I left my friends house I called Hungry Howies, directly, and tried to reorder my pizza. They remembered that I was the order that got lost and offered to replace my pizza for free.
