I didn't actually eat here, and after this experience I most likely never will. I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the smell. Old grease and dirty carpets. Not a pleasant combination. I then noticed the smell of the food, which wasn't entirely unpleasant. But, there was a VERY strong fish smell. That kind of fish smell is from fish that's been out too long. Then I noticed the interior. Dayed, old with torn seat cushions, old tables and chairs, very poor lighting and just an overall sense of neglect. I am, however, usually willing to give places a chance because you never know. It could be a diamond in the rough.....lots and lots of rough..... So the waiter comes forward and asks how many, and I say just myself. So he leads me around, asking me if I want a table or booth. While gesturing lackadaisically, he drops the silverware he was holding on the floor. Without missing a beat he picks it up and places it on the table I was going to sit at. Ok....I can ask for new silverware.... He then asks me what I'd like to drink. I ask for a diet Coke. He says diet Pepsi. Ok, what else do you have? Diet Pepsi. No, do you have anything else? Diet Pepsi. Erg His entire attitude was that this whole customer service thing was a massive inconvenience and that he'd rather be anywhere....in the deepest pits of Hades, having hot irons inserted into sensitive holes on his body....than here doing his job. So, didn't get to try the food. Just noped...
Read moreBeen here a few times over the years. It's really gone downhill. $16 for Dinner buffet? Okay, then where's the value? I don't think a beef dish was on the line. They had some small, boiled shrimp on the ice bar. No ginger offered for the sushi. No bowls available for any soup. No fresh Chinese mustard offered. No scallions offered for the soup. The lo mein was soggy, swimming in sauce. I really think they're pushing holdovers from lunch mixing fresh in for dinner. It tasted that way. Brown? Steamed broccoli? Stir fried mushrooms did not taste or even look stir fried. Waitress brought me my tea, and didn't see her again until after I'd finished eating. So much for a refill. Really sad. I could go on, but I won't. At those prices with these offerings, the only one "winning" is the restaurant. I'm sorry Covid happened, but, this was money ill spent. Offer value or just stop it. You're ripping people off. P.S. I visited on a Friday night at 6pm. There were customers, but not the crowd that would cause them to run out and stay ran out of these things. That's not my impression at all. I honestly wish this wasn't true and I didn't have to say this in their review. But, had you been there with me, you would know I'm not...
Read moreBefore I go further I absolutely love Asian food especially sushi and sashimi.
I wish I could give the food here zero stars! Anyone thinking this place deserves 4 or 5 stars I really feel for you. You must have never had good Asian food in your life!
Tried every entree on the hot menu. Most were over cooked and many were very bland.
The noodles were overcooked. The bourbon chicken was tough. The sweet n sour chicken was dry. The imitation crab was soggy. All three shrimp variations were way over cooked!
Even the egg drop soup was oily. How does that even happen?!?!
Sorry not sorry but I've had better spicy crab rolls out of a gas station! You should really hang your head in shame on that one!!!
Out of my entire dinner the only thing that tasted good was my water.
Atmosphere? Well poorly lit sums that up.
Do yourself a favor. If you want Chinese food and you live in the area, go to the grocery store and buy some frozen Chinese food and microwave it. It will taste better. If you're traveling through, go on down the road. Can't get any worse elsewhere.
Honestly this is the absolute worst Chinese food I've ever had and that includes me accidentally microwaving 9 minutes instead of...
