Went to this location to pick up ham slices in the Ziploc packages that they often sell. when I arrived I found that there were two lines one for pre-orders and one for just walk UPS. didn't know I was in the wrong line for 10 minutes once I was in the correct line I called the actual store to double-check and make sure that they were still selling ham slices in the package. I was told that they were selling them and had plenty. I was told the young lady I spoke to on the phone that I wouldn't be there for about another 45 minutes and was told don't worry about it we have plenty. stood in line for a total of 40 minutes now and once I get inside asked for two packages of ham slices I was told they don't have anymore they're only selling quarter hams and half hams. asked if they could take a quarter ham and cut it up and make two packages of ham slices and sell it to me that way, was told no those hands are pre-ordered. I asked if they're pre-ordered how can you sell them to me? Never got an answer. I went to the store in Solon had no problem was in and out in 10 minutes the lady working the register whose name was Sweets took great care of me the Solon location is my go-to location I will not go to the one on SOM ever again and we'll make sure to advise everyone I talk with to understand why, horrible horrible...
Read moreWhile trying to order a Christmas meal for my 87 year old mother in law, who has company coming, I spent about three hours trying to find out how to order and pay for the food. I was told, in no uncertain terms, that I could not pay for it over the phone. I was instructed to go online to order and pay for it and then someone else could pick it up. I sent screen shots to my nephew of all my confirmations. Needless to say, when he got to the SOM Center location they said there was an order but it wasn't paid for. The manager FINALLY came to the phone and when shown the confirmations agreed to let me pay again...OVER THE PHONE!! So it was okay TODAY but not yesterday. The manager was about as nice as he could be with an angry customer with receipts that made them look completely inept. We'll see if I get charged a second time now. If so, I'm sure I will get a run around with my reimbursement. Terrible customer service and your website is awful to navigate. PS: you new sweet potato recipe is all watery and tastes like baby food mush. Very disappointed in...
Read morePre ordered ham and turkey for Thanksgiving . Ordered from this location before and independence for past few years online . Usually you can go in and pick up your “pre paid” order and go on your way . This year my pickup time was 3-330 I got there at 3and there was a long line for PRE PAID orders ! Some people who scheduled pick up times were 1230! Why weren’t there orders ready??? I refuse to wait outside in the cold for an order I PREPAID for in a line that was NOT MOVING!
I came back at 7pm to pick up my order thinking it will be less busy just to be told it will be a wait on my order . Why isn’t my PREPAID PREORDED READY ?!? the clerk told me “first come first serve” what was the point of prepaid and preordering days before hand ??? I am a single parent with no other family here so I have to cook a whole meal alone which is why i order the turkey and ham to save my self the stress and instead they added to it ! I will NEVER order again WASTE OF TIME and not dependable around...
