Well I waited at the drive thru speaker for 10 minutes and no one ever answered me so I drove to the window were I seen the employees standing behind the counter not doing anything and still stood there for about 3 to 4 minutes before they decided to come open the window. I asked if they were closed bc by this time it was only 8:45pm. The girl said no what do u want? I simply ordered the $5.99 fish and fries. Not friendly at all but rather rude. Now this is where I am extremely annoyedâŚ. There was 1 customer that came in and was waiting as well other than that NOONE was there but employees and obviously there friends. I waited for over 15 minutes for redropped food. The fries were hard as a rock, fish was disgusting bc it was reheated instead of fresh. The hush puppies were cold and wouldnât u know that the boat of cracklings was even pitiful. If I could put pics on here I would show u. They scraped the very last of the old nasty brown dark batter and served that out. I could not believe this order. Wow completely furious bc I have worked at captain ds and I know what is expected and what happened tonight was completely unacceptable. Had I been a secret customer they would have failed in all areas. 100%. People coming behind the counter getting what they wanted because Iâm guessing they were friends of the employees bc they were not in uniform. Employees eating at the counter is a absolute no no but obviously Mayfield has nocode ethics or standards or the expectations for employees must be very low. I understand that finding people to work is hard right now, but I would rather close my doors before I allowed people to give bad service with terrible food. My money is hard to come by as Iâm sure most of us can relate to that situation. Food has already went up drastically in price, so to be served bad food and have to pay high prices is not acceptable.    Read moreWe usually love going inside to eat. It was Sunday at about 3pm and they were out of catfish. We ordered 2 other meals and sat in the dining room while waiting for our food. While waiting the employees were complaining about another employee that was running late for shift. As a customer you want to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and food, not employees bickering about their issues. Looking around we saw mold and broken ceiling tiles throughout. The franchise owner, manager or someone has to know the issues with the ceiling. It seems that they have become complacent or just don't care. The parking lot has old, weed infested flower beds and the parking lot/lines need a makeover. Our food came out and was at a good temperature. My wife's food was good but my fish had a very strong fish taste like it was old. Definitely not worth $34 for 2 people. No more tarter sauce or cocktail sauce that you pump out of the container, only prepackaged condiments. Not necessarily what we're use to at Captain D's. They need to take some notes from the Murray location. That location is immaculate and the staff are professional. Probably why we were the only people in the lobby the whole time we were eating. The employee that served us our food went out front to smoke while on her cell phone. She came in and from what we know she never washed her hands before continuing to work. Will not be back to this location. I have pics of the dining area if anyone at corporate is interested.

   Read moreOrdered food through the app and was shown it would be ready in 15 minutes. Ordered 2 family meals. I Arrived after 20 minutes. I walked in and was not greeted. I was looked at and asked âwhatâ by the manager. The cook in the back was mad about something. The manager asked him about our order and he replied with âIâm working on itâ not in a nice way.
The manager called me âlittle buddyâ when I was sitting and minding my own business after she wanted to ask me about my thoughts on the drink prices. Thatâs why I donât buy their drinks. McDonaldâs is cheaper for a large compared to a small at Dâs.
The manager and the cook got into an argument when the cook was snapping at the workers. Other people inside the restaurant were waiting for their food for a long time and were asking if it got lost. I did not receive my order for a total of nearly 50 minutes after placing the order on the app.
The fries were stale and brown from over cooked grease.
The chicken was overcooked and looked shriveled up.
The manager had forgotten to hand me my sides also. Luckily it was in a bag already when I came back in. We made sure to check all the food before we left. They seemed confused on a lot of orders at the drive thru. Thatâs why we checked ours.
After that experience, I just donât have the confidence to turn around and buy food for my family there anymore. Was not worth the $70 I spent at all. The fries are always what I look forward to, but they...
