I buy premium cocktails, was reduced down to a bottle beer, n i only got it because i was ordering a Togo dinner and that how i roll, it felt like I was unwelcome, a impedance to them. Serve up a distain for my order, n i walked there because i live less than 1/4 mile away. I ordered there once n that will probably it. I heard from other locals that the lady's that own this are top notch, only all guys were working that night. I will gladly drive to Sudbury for an experience that warrants at 40% tip, even when i roll in 30mins before the kitchen/store closes. If i feel like im an inconvenience I'll avoid a place. Im at railroad st. For just a bit longer, travel all over New England for construction. I get "home" late and limited options in Maynard. No one knows Maynard is a place in Massachusetts. To the rest of the state this town doesn't exist . The food might have been good quality bar fair, but everything was overshadowed by the experience. If the staff just wants to go home, no problem cause I'll avoid it, n tell my install crews to blow past it. A stones throw from there has cheaper fair but will remember you after 1 visit. And open 1 hr than yall. I was a cook/chef for 20yrs, and a certified "mixologist", so if ownership aint there then no, you are a burden to the staff.    Read moreWe wanted to try a different pizza restaurant so we decided to try MPB. Our first visit was takeout. We had the Abruzzo pizza, and thoroughly enjoyed it... so much so, that we went back last night! This time we dined at the restaurant, which was cozy inside. I would have given 5* but people were coming in/out for pickup and it was chilly sitting near the door. I would also have given 5* for service but they were short staffed so one employee was waiting tables, bartending, answering the phone, and cashing out takeout orders. I'd give her 10* for her professionalism. She was friendly to everyone (me, the new customer) as well as the regulars. Lastly, our pizza, the Messina, was super delicious!    Read moreHands down one of the worst experiences Iâve ever had at a bar. The vibe wasnât fun, it was flat-out sketchy. Floors are sticky and everything was too dirty to touch or sit. The staff couldnât care less about what was going on, and it honestly felt like nobody was in charge. Underage drinking is normalized right out in the open, and management not only does nothing but they participate. (Gross) That alone should be a dealbreaker.
The food? Forgettable. The atmosphere? Chaotic. Hygiene? Nonexistent. The whole place just gave off the impression that rules donât matter and customers donât matter either. Do yourself a favor and pick literally any other spot â youâll thank...
